The Beetlejuice is somewhat intentional. I'm here and checking in while I read. I even said yesterday I'm here if needed. But I haven't finished reading yet. So the things people are talking about I don't have context on. So I'm kind of refreshing and looking for my name.

That feeling started when he posted this as I was catching up:

I then really did not like the set of posts described here, where I felt the push on Mare was weird in its strength and the reason for not voting a copout. It made me want to flip both.

Contextually it is important to note that the moment I singled out Cakez as scum in Xenoblade was when he defended my slot for little to no reason. This never really made it into the main thread except in passing, as he had other players tunneling him and I did not publicly post until after the fact (I just told my hydra partner, catboi, about it)

With this in mind, Cakez's attack on Pooky for the read on me made no sense to me and struck a similar chord, because Pooky's vote made

total sense

Finally this kind of put me over the edge:

I split the slots in my head into under 7 / over 7 cuz that's about where you can expect to get a power role.(its not science its just me guessing)

I think scum are incentivized in this setup to go into the low numbers to get good stuff to deny it to town and make themselves harder to yeet.

I think of the game as trying to figure out who the baddies are in the low numbers and then using that to sort the rest of the game because I think it's almost impossible for scum to go all high numbers and win this game?

Faker, what did you think of catboi's early read on me.

I have spoken a few times about how I did not really like it. I didn't think your original posts gave much. It's really going to get revisited as part of my meta project on you when I have the time.

I really am not a fan of the current midwaybear vote. I am putting off revisiting the slot and doing the legwork as the catchup already took a lot out of me in conjunction with grad school applications+vacation/travel but I would really prefer Cakez or flow trap at the moment.

I initially bought the chihuahua vs. bear argument with Cakez but given the largely tonal nature of it, and knowing that there is a lot of history since that I am missing, I have grown increasingly skeptical which is why it's on my projects list to review.
