Yes, my experience with playing against him in Iceland is that he is joking, erratic, and keeps things generally underexplained/close to chest as town. Skimming a scumgame suggests those behvaiors are NAI.

I did not like a read on IV I found to seem arbitrary.

North, if you're scumreading that post of mine you have to think I'm lying. Sircakez is right that I was saying if I was scum I'd have a better time explaining where things are coming from. I usually speak with more confidence as scum. Sometimes as town I can reach that confidence but the control of situations isn't always there. Actually, my last game is a good example of that. My reads were near perfect but we lost because I couldn't sell anyone on them.

no, not really. without even commenting on whether or not i think you're lying (which i genuinely have basically no opinion on), my point was that the act of saying what you're saying itself wasn't really "admitting" something, it was just stating a behavior of yours this game and stating that it's town indicative for you.

i think i understand the point pretty well, he basically seems to be making the "self meta is towny" argument. i've argued this myself many times before. in this instance i personally find it not super compelling, but i more or less understand his point.
