Yes, I have read their posts, and have just done so again again in response to this push since I'm townreading StD and to a lesser degree, Ceph. Nothing jumped out at me, which is why I was asking.

Alright, uhh I'm gonna be v/la till the 18th/19th, it's a mix of like winter break ending, and classes going back, and some really sad real life stuff going on. 16-18 I probably won't post at all, these next few days are shaky, but figured I'd give the heads up now. I'll still try and check in daily though!!

I can never understand why there is very little compromise on Day 1.

Are we doing Arcade now? Or is this just a temporary wagon until the winds change again?

Shrike fell asleep last night.

Changed reads are:

Norw. SCUM. Off wagon pushing. Votehopping. I was vibes-based townreading you, as was Shrike. Shrike disagrees with this scumread, but I'm pushing it through.
Grendel. TOWN. Norw/Grendel interactions feel legitimately disqualifying for SvS: its too one-sided (Grendel chasing Norw down), it's too intermittent, and it's too weak for anything of value to come of the theater except weakening the positions of both slots. I see where Bell's coming from, but I don't have enough other active slots I can play off of Bell to try to build solutions yet, so I'm going to go with my gut here. Shrike has Grendel at null here, doesn't agree with Bell's take OR mine.
Andante. SCUM. Pushing compromise wagons on lurkslots. Votehopping. Vibes-based scumread as well; everything since our last mention of the slot is disgustingly fake. It reminds me of Noraa being cute-on-purpose as scum, it's too sweet and makes me feel queasy. SCUM.
Val89. NULL. With updated information, this slot feels hard to keep in as lock scum. But I sure do hate it a lot, more than I did earlier when it was T3 even. This is where I would vig rather than lim, if I could vig. Shrike would like to add that this is the bad kind of null, not uncertainty for lack of data, but uncertainty for conflicting data.
Roden. TOWN. As with Val, but then Grendel makes several good arguments for why Roden's town-feeling here too. I feel like Roden and Grendel are always the same alignment, so if Norw goes green I'd kill them both. Shrike has Roden at null and thinks Norw is one thousand percent irrelevant but otherwise fully agrees.
Bears. TOWN. Flea brought out the faebrained antics and chaos shenanigans I was expecting in the first place, and it doesn't feel fake. Given lack of pressure to contribute (no hard-pushes on bear-slot) and faer RL considerations at the time we took the original read on the slot, this feels legit enough to thumbs up.

Shrike will post from here on out, I hope.

for what it is worth I'm not known for being a particularly decisive player. Esp D1 when the least amount of info is available to work with.

In the past I've often been willing to compromise onto anybody I'm not openly town reading nearing EoD1 lmao

7/10 -- In particular, I liked that she picked something up on Arcade, then worked herself around to move her vote to LLD and then Ircher, but then decided to go back to her first scumread. Like she realized pretty quickly that LLD was a bad vote and wasn't comfortable with voting Ircher, so she went back to Arcade. And it's sort of a mindmeld with Ircher because I go back and forth on him, not sure he's a good lim today.
I dont recall her Arcade case so Ill cross ref in a sec.

Why does the way she retracted her vote on LLD strike you as town processes specifically?
but why?

You say that, but this site has a rep for dragging the day phase out as long as possible. I do think that Icrcher was most likely lim, and might still be since this town is having a hard time making up its mind.
In post 1721, Cephrir wrote:Also I dont really like how suddenly this goes from norwe town to scum after just one post indicating he won't be an ally
I don't recall ever town reading norwee. There was a couple times he slipped into null territory this game, but that's all.

where does grendel indicate he thinks norwee is town
Maybe town is too strong a word but in 1658 he seemed to be considering it
grendel and norwee, reading that entire exchange, felt like 1 maf talking to another maf, as an effort to distance from each other
If you think this then you should be interested w/ helping me bus my buddy here. Or otherwise encouraging dueling wagons between Norwee, and I.

Having a proverbial scum pair pressured to vote each other is a townie's wet dream. From a town PoV you wanna capitalize on situations like this. Like i don't wanna go all Ted Talk about optimal play but yeah... lol.

o/c you could be scum, and just not be thinking that deeply into what you are doing~

i lied again. i cannot contribute much today because i have a shitton of emails and hw. but i will explain the fenny read.

There's a lot of nuance in his posts that just aren't there when he's town. Like it straight up ISNT THERE when he's town. It's part of the reason I struggle with reading him but theres just so much nuance here that is just so scummy. My issues are present in these posts below but ESPECIALLY the most bottom quote.
In post 1259, Save The Dragons wrote:i'm a little weirded out all i got was a "I don't fucking know," same with cephrir but maybe i can see that but i'm not sure how i'm floating in anyone's null space atm i can barely keep my damn mouth shut

i think my ultimate bears opinion is they could be scum but maybe not who i want to go after d1. noraa's list is a little problematic for me if fae's had no controversial takes maybe noraa's has too many i guess? maybe? i dunno somehow there's like 7 scum and they turn it into 3 and that's impressive
In post 1263, Save The Dragons wrote:i said i think you could be scum :P

i just think there are more appetizing targets
In post 1279, Save The Dragons wrote:
In post 1269, The Three Bears wrote:So with that in mind, I want to you expand on why you think our current dissonance is scum indicative, why you're not engaging despite having bigger fish to fry if you think we're scum (you got one of the heads here and active). Town objective should always be to take out scum, and you go for a scum flip over an information flip always.
i'm hunting ircher and roden at the moment i think they're more likely to be scum than you so i'm going to keep voting who i think is going to flip scum thank you. your dissonance isn't really playing a factor i'm trying to read you all separately at the moment

noraa's readslist looks plastered together in a way that seems disingenuous. they have a lot of "i dunno" reads, put some of my top scumreads in their town pool, completely forgot to write something about greeting, i think they could be making it up. it has nothing to do with not having a potential solve i think they actually did a good job of solving and sometimes scum readlists leave much to be desired in the way of scum reads. but putting half the town in your scum pile kind of dilutes the value of the read in a sense because 1) it can't be true and 2) it's casting a wider net making it easier to be right about scum.

talking to noraa doesn't feel like talking to scum!noraa though so i want to give you a pass for now to see if i can read you better later in the day or on D2 or something.

your readslist bothered me but the saving grace was that you seemed to have a read on controversial slot roden as town way before it so in my head i thought your reads weren't as bad or at least not as "look at my totally town opinions that everyone has"
It's just so much nuance and much deeper thinking than Fenny ever does/shows as town. I dont think he feels the need to do that as town so seeing it makes me think he's just scum.
