I think there's a misunderstanding on what bad town play is to me

the spectrum of town play to me is how well the scumteam have to play in order to beat them; individual player strength has little to nothing to do with it

I'm not sure why a technical definition is worthy of locktowning? Unless the two are just unrelated

No? It means that team is implausible with how he tried to leverage his PR to deflect his wagon to me, the single least likely person to have a PR.

I don't think his vote will stick if an actual wagon forms, actually. But that's if they log in lol

Nothing about it screams "unaligned" to me.

I don't think so. PR's are part of town's tools they are given, just as the NK is part of scum's tools. You're saying that town should be able to ignore a major tool and still win, or else they don't really deserve it.

- dunno why scum-him postures around not voting sleepless, seems easy enuf to just vote him. Also he had a pretty early townread on sleepless' big wall, and was pretty resolute in defending it throughougt despite pressure from a variety of people voting there, which makes me think it was a real read he had the whole time
- this was is more just a ping
- i liked the whole string of posts ~1736 - ~ 1759, particularly 1745, i'm not sure scum-him pushes back and tells me i'm making an inaccurate comparison, or gets so grumpy about the comparison i'm making, or would respond that way to being 'threatened'
I also dont think he questions me the way he did when i questioned mare's claim as scum

I think you're right though, I think it is actually plausible for scum!RB-midway to push scum!goon-S_S to try to keep the scum PR alive longer, especially with multitasking.

But I wouldn't have wanted something so heavy-handed, it could be meant to frame me and look like distancing, but more likely it really was just hoping that people respect the PR claim and push on an obvious VT instead.

the nightkill is a tool to help the mafia fool the town during the day, it's not their primary tool to win the game

if town can do essentially nothing during the day to find the mafia and still win just through clearing too many people with PRs and forcing all of scum's kills, then I don't think town really deserved a win, no

I'm a pretty firm believer that the day play is the cornerstone of the game and the PRs should facilitate winning through that avenue; if the game can be played just by directing PRs, then that's just subverting the game imo

at the very least it just feels awful to me as either alignment when town wins through power roles when the scumteam blatantly played the day phase better

none of your points are outside of SS's scumrange and in fact a couple are firmly in it, namely being mildly grumpy about something they perceive as wrong is 1000% in SS's scumrange
