I don’t think anyone should be taking anything AI out of that entire exchange based on the ridiculousness of it all.
Personally. That slot is one of my favorites ever. Props to whoever is behind it."Would you like to know more?"

Post 188 also seems to be spot-on onStephen A Smith. Repping into a game to post a completely random, unsubstantiated suspicion list (71) and then get into a heated argument with the top "culprit" just doesn't make sense as town play at all. Is this some kind of past-game grudge that I don't know of? 82 seems to be suggesting that, but then, in 156Dwlee99claims they know nothing of it.
The pressureIn post 82, Stephen A Smith wrote:You not about to stand there pretending you have the short term memory of a goldfish on me are you?Stephen A Smithis seemingly putting onDwlee99seems completely out of place to me.
As for their later posts, the rebuffs to their obviously very disruptive play seem to be overly aggressive, as in 192 or 196. Sure, they've repped in a short while ago, but why would it even matter when almost all they've literally posted is unnecessary banter.
VOTE: Stephen A Smith until they convince me they're town.

I've got my first soft townlean early and that isfireisredsir.
I liked 36 already, but I disagree with the reasoning. Nonetheless, I think it's a legit read.
Two other posts from them I like, and I agree with, are 188 and 193.
There are no red flags from me fromfireisredsirso far.
I don't thinkHockeyFanis particularly scummy. I can actually see their posts coming from a newbie town perspective (kinda like myself). Their intents in posts 27, 155, 170 and 176 are all giving me a genuine town game-solving attitude. I have played withHockeyFanbefore, in Newbie 2078. He repped into that game, then got miseliminated for being a compromise slot/low-hanging fruit, and I honestly don't see much difference between him here and there.
I suppose this could be a cause for concern though:
I've played with
Dwlee99in some games and I've found their playstyle to be generally quite nullish, and this game is no exception. Maybe but for that bizarre squabble withStephen A Smith, but I don't see their participation in it as town-indicative either.
What makes you think that's a townslot?- Scorpious

I get that they were both angry, but all that came out of it was "I said it" "No you didn't". This type of interaction(from both players) is not town leaning in any wayIn post 197, Nero Cain wrote:

16 seemed like a good clarifcation question and not let Andante pick and choose what they want to see
20 is towny cuz i mainly agreed with it(and for the most part it was the first REAL vote of the game)

Re: "The exchange"
I've been in DWlee's shoes recently. Stephen would argue the color of the sky with them. Every time a legit answer is run in a circle it gives someone a chance to misrep the original answer. I don't like what he's doing. The entire character(Stephen) and more likely than not the game opening, and maybe even the entire game is already being played as some sort of gambit. its all pre meditated. Not saying thats AI at all because obviously there is no way to know what they will roll, but I feel this character would have been installed regardless of green or red.
For anyone that may not know the Real Stephen A Smith is famous here in the US for being a master debater on pro sports, and his style is known to rile people up. It's his schtick. Is House a sports fan? Cause even the sports references are correct. When I asked for the "lay off the weed quote" BOOM! It was there
I am a little surprised DW would care so much, and I don't think they were expecting the length of what was about to happen. But again, I'm not used to DW Omgussing like that, that seems out of character. but I think they were talking to a wall at this point, and from the looks of it I'm probably next. yay..
Side not I'm a little wary of anyone who says there are ignoring it because it's the most signifficant exchange up to this point."Would you like to know more?"

It's AI because its a hedge list based on nothing, and its on like page 3 and regardless of what happens you have left every possible out for yourself.like all of them. Thats why it's scummy. In post 192, Stephen A Smith wrote:

I felt the answers were genuinely written. There was no defiance in any of it. My main reason for that line of question was to get more of a tone.and writing style. Not necessarily concrete information. In post 245, HockeyFan wrote:what about wave's 214 did u find town? Im not really sure how this post changes your read on them
I like to look at things a little differently when I play. Of course there are the mechanics and rules and whatnot but so many people neglect other things like tone.
I also watch the games for changes in a writer’s punctuation. It can be a great tell, especially if it varies.
I(we) all have a solid baseline on how wave writes when they feel relaxed and not under a lot of pressure."Would you like to know more?"

I agree they were genuinely written but how does saying stuff like "You're right" or "It doesnt" lean more towards town then it does mafia? that's the part I dont get. It's intresting to me that you TR that post based off the tone, cuz it didnt really tell me much, can u expand on thisIn post 248, Scorpious wrote:

and FTR, i do find the post towny but because of the actual content he said on the last line: "like, the actual towniest thing stephen has done this game was posting a list of scumreads and offering zero explanation for them
It's not that they HAD no explanation. The reads did have reasoning behind them. But in that moment he didn't particularly care to justify them nor care what people thought about them, even when challenged about it. I think that tends to come from town more than mafia"(this just seems town) - HockeyFan
