eliminating someone while they are in the middle of catching up for no reason other than that they haven't finished catching up yet is a ridiculous concept and one of the worst ideas i've ever heard come from someone who is presenting it as something that is in town's best interests

he kinda tested the waters in 857 and 885 and didn't get that much pushback. maybe he just thought it would be an easy place to park his vote since all day he has wanted to avoid being on the main wagons. the "when do we consider limming that slot?" is just so weird, like, why the appeal to the crowd? it's a game with a ton of posts, he's been making effort to be thorough in catching up, and seems like he will be useful and engaged once he does. how is that a good place to lim? why would you assume that others would be on board with that?

and in both, you criticized me for going after what you deemed to be a low-hanging fruit lurker

which shows that, for at least the span of 400 posts out of this game, you believed that it was not a good idea to go after someone for low activity (side note: I was never going after eyes for low activity anyway. but that's besides the point)

@EVERYONE: Please READ not just skim. I am NOT defending Scorpious. He still is at the bottom of my readlist (2nd bottom that is) but I am stating a FACT that seems to have stuck only to MY memory out of all available options. That should tell you something about the people accusing me of not paying attention.

this is not a lurking, contentless slot that is being useless to the game. it is someone who replaced in and is in the middle of catching up, and has given useful content in the process of catching up. provide another example of someone bringing up eliminating someone who is in the middle of catching up and has shown no signs of being useless, please

he probably didn't notice because he himself knows he's been repeatedly critical of my eyes push. so he didn't bother going back and reading the post itself, he knew the point I was making was well-founded
