I can not be fucked to sift through 25 pages of thier interactions. Anwyays, i decided that thier interaction was t/s, and i found FA scummier since she repeated the same talking abounts about 20 times

The situation is very very simple now. IF there is a GS (other than Nero) they should claim. If there's no CC then Nero, Hockey and wave are now semi-confirmed townies (I would have said confirmed except if there is some kind of another investigative that doesn't make since to co-exist with the gunsmith).

I still townread fire and Scorpious, so the whole scum team is in the worst/Dwlee/Andante/Umlaut/Stephen

Something I've noticed that may or may not mean anything: Dwlee has been shouting "eyes is scum" all game. Stephen has been tunneled on Nero. Andante adopted that game play of late and is advocating an Umlaut lim. Would it make sense for the whole team to adopt the same approach to the game at this point (tunnel on one player to look busy)?

But if that's the case then I hate the worst even more, because that was no way to play as a townie.

there is no "of all people" with rolecopping, what are you even talking about. there's almost no point shooting a rolecop shot blindly

I pretty much only considered shooting it at people who had claimed, namely eyes and hockey. if I found out they were lying about their claim, boom that's a guilty

now, consider two alternative failure scenarios. scenario 1: I shoot at eyes and it comes back vanilla. great, I've gained zero information from this, since I would come away still thinking he's a mafia goon

scenario 2: I shoot at hockey and it comes back backup <some role>. now I at least gain some setup information - namely, that someone who later claims to be that role, is probably telling the truth and is indeed that role. either that or is incredibly lucky (or mafia also have a rolecop who targeted hockey? ehhhh okay)

so the hockey shot gained me information regardless of its result

i don't really get how the small amount of info you gain from hockey is more useful than saving it for actually checking out a claim when one happens. unlimited, okay. but one-shot? it's not like you were likely to be in much danger of dying

the most likely scenario, regardless of what I decided to do, was that my role would be completely useless. that's fine. but holding onto it just increases that likelihood, not decreases it
