This setup looks pretty good to me. Conventional wisdom for mini normals is that town needs about three moderately strong roles (like tracker) to balance against all goons. The tracker here is one, the gunsmith is a second, and the jailkeeper is a third. We then have an additional mafia rolecop and backup vig which balances out since the backup is pseudo-confirmed town (since vigs are only town). Thus, I'm willing to pass as-is.

I think N0 or N99 vig usually isn't allowed in the queue because it's "weird" but an impotent backup vig seems like a "weird" thing that's just effective and kinda has more bad side effects.

How do you guys calculate balance? Is it instinct?

I think I mostly think about what percentage of a normal cop each thing is (tracker is like half of one) and kinda do goofy napkin math.

Rules

The Basics

Days

- Day 1: 10 days. Days 2+: 7 days.
- Majority Lims.
- If no majority lim has been achieved and the deadline has expired, the day will end without a lim.
- You may vote for a no lim, the threshold for which 50% of players alive.

Nights

- 2 days.
- Fast nights are always an option and must be unanimous.
- If you have a night action but do not submit one, it will be counted as a no action.

Prods

- 36 hour before prod, respond to prod within 24 hours before replacement.
- Please make a game-advancing post in order to reset the prod timer.
- Players who have declared V/LA will still be expected to post every 72 hours.
