Lol! Did you pull an allnighter for work?
Bruce: Terry. I've been thinking about something you once told me... and you were wrong. It's not Batman that makes you worthwhile; it's the other way around. Never tell yourself anything different.
Terry: ...Thanks.

No, I'm dumb and was like "what if I drink a lot on Friday night to relieve all my work stress!" And then I woke up at 430am with a headache because I'm actually old people now and shouldn't be doing those things.

:shifty: sigh. I shouldn't realy see anything into that, but it always triggers me a little when I see him do that, jut due to how many times they've done it as scum, even though I think they do it as town(?) too.
Huh? I'm not following what you're meaning here?
Pattern recognition. Pooky tends to do like these membership lists in games. Pooky has also been scum in a higher number of games than rand with me. It’s a bad correlation. Ignore it.

No, you got it right you can disagree but I think the first half town part is more about characteristics than solve.

I would like to see you sell me on fire and not just luke. It feels kind of bad faith for us to lim him solely on some luke reactions you didn't like.

Fire's interactions this game don't look that scummy to me, so I'm having a hard time getting the tunnel on him. (Yes, I know you said this is a luke thing, I'm just saying!)
…why are you bringing up fairness in an unfair world. It’s not something I’m going to engage you about. I don’t apply what is just or fair to games of mafia regarding player alignment. If a player miseliminated a bunch of players I do not think “it’s only fair they die now.” And thinking they must be scum for pushing town wagons a lot.

I do not think how Baltar is posting right now is scummy btw. But I am very weak to aTe. I also know saying that is not going to be helpful.

I do think that if baltar is town here this is a case of people seeing a player be different and failing to adequately solve for the player when they give you a true explanation for their behavior.

If they’re scum, lol myb for not being very helpful. I’m not terribly against it next game day tho.

Ok. I suppose I can squint and see that because some of what I'm town binning people over is how aggressively they are playing. When I say that, what I mean is that they are being confrontational in spots where I think scum more often than not would seek appeasement or just not say anything. So I see town motivation in those characteristics, if that's how you want to describe it.

Well, I do think making good faith arguments against people is important. I often get accused of being scum when I'm town, and the bad faith arguments in my experience are more likely to come from or be trumpeted by scum (though never exclusively).

I also like fire generally speaking, so I'm biased there.

It's also just helpful for me in finding your alignment to see where you are coming from and if you're assessing all the info available or just vote camping.

Don’t care. My opinion is that fire is a slam dunk and I will keep thinking so until the mod or a role proves me wrong. It’s simply in my interest to keep trying to kill them. Play toward win con, use what you know to try to sort for people. I think I have a reliable way to sort Luke and so I will push it. Until I learn if they’re scum or not. That’s pretty much my actual perspective here.

If I’m wrong that’s good too because then I learn something new about Luke and I’m perfectly happy to apologize for the bad read. I tried my best and failed to solve for a player. It happens.

I also don’t think my vote parking is congruent with laziness since it’s not like I haven’t said other things.
Sure I keep repeating that I want fire dead, but that’s not the only thing i’m doing and you saying it is, is pretty much a misrepresentation.

I dunno what to think on aggrieved Dwlee, last Dwlee was scum, but I think his multiball argument was an excellent explanation. I dunno if I’m just unimpressed with their solving though. Rather. I’m just meh on them.

Ok. I don't think your vote on Luke was bad. I supported it for a reason. I'm just not sure I can be persuaded to lim fire on that alone. That's basically all I'm stating because I'm townvibing Fire's posts a bit.

Sure. That’s fine. If you’re partners with Luke you’re doing an excellent job of convincing me otherwise.
Of course none of this matters if I’m wrong on Luke. Well that’s not true. I’m not sure of how you’re defending them is informed or not. I always get a little bugged out when people say “I don’t see what other people are seeing about x” just because scum say that(so do town, but as scum I’m sometimes tempted to say it and approach it very differently). It’s more fortune cookie thinking. I definitely need to stop that.

I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”

Haven't been reading up properly since last night, catching up now.

I think maybe the most confusing thing about VP Baltar's reads list is that he hasn't really been advancing his scum reads at all. I'm not particularly sure it makes him lockscum or whatever. Can kind of see the point pooky is getting at but want to review things myself.

I was hoping to hear more from certain players, but that hasn't really manifested. 19 players is a lot of people and I want to get my thoughts together first

Bulge vanishing is kind of disappointing although I guess not unexpected. I think him trying to play the part of a hard-nosed interrogator with me is more or less typically town-him, although it's not a strong read at all. Not sure I'm going to be able to figure out Enchant at all.

I think the scummiest thing about fire's play so far is that they seem to be playing it entirely safe with their their posting and not ruffle feathers at all

Read VP Baltar's posts and still feel uncomfortable with eliminating him day 1, mostly seems like the classic trap of town hyperfocusing their attention on someone who is very active on day 1 and therefore has more things to criticize.
