I said earlier that they are currently unreadable and I stand by that. Maybe staying unreadable is scummy. It's not clear to me why they think they need to choose carefully in 412, or what they mean by 'fearless'

So look at enchants iso. It doesn't discuss other players yet. Tiniest bit of judgement with regards to mechanics. But there is no threat of elimination today, no way to force them to open up.

I proposed and in a way forced them to judge me. Not accepting the offer yet is one suggestion of a read enchant may have, though they only suggest my proposal is "fearless" in some way. They didn't say "no".

mmm, do you usually "dance around" (pun intended) other players like this? what i mean, you give off the vibe of wanting to get a better read on enchant and get them to react to something, but at the same time it feels like you're talking

them. in a newer player i'd consider that behaviour flat-out scummy, but 2008 join date is not really that.

We can't eliminate a lady today, even the scummiest will make it. I don't mind scumreading them in a quicktopic either.

The biggest downside is likely not being in a position of choice after a nightkill. But that's what discussion is for anyway.

there is like, a whole lesson on "but you do understand it's better to pair with townier people if you're town because they have better odds of being town and therefore that's better for the town wincon because fypov you are lessening the odds of towns getting yeeted" here somewhere but idk if it's actually worth getting into right now

Me, I am quite open in talking and I think town although you might find me oldfashioned and still a bit impulsive/reckless on top?

i think luke is a little towny for the presentation of his notes like

kind of feel if he was scum he would just share them upfront

maybe it’s good press to have his notes ready and available when someone asks to feel more like ... idk natural or something but even then that feels silly

It's the first choice enchant makes this game, something good came from it. Though they didn't say as much :/. Fearless? Hardly, we wouldn't be lovers.

You are not lovers in the traditional sense, but during the voting phase you are voted out together. So I think that Enchant is saying that it is dangerous to pair with him, because he is likely to get voted out, therefore pairing with him would make you fearless. That follows with this post

On the surface, this looks like a decent strategy for a LHF townie. Pair with your top scum read, so that if/when people scum read you, you are taking that person down with you. Prism/Ydra were talking about this strategy for a mafia to do, but it looks like enchant was thinking about doing it as a townie.

you are aware you're not like, a very popular townread this game, right?

I am aware. But I also know that until recently I have basically never been miseliminated. So, I do still have a "I am hard to miseliminate" mindset for myself. Maybe that is a dumb way to think about it given that I am playing differently, but I really don't know the best way to pick a dance partner, and that was an idea that I had to try and apply a strategy to the decision.

I find it interesting that myko does not seem to realize Enchant's logic, when he kinda spelled it all out.

I want to say that it is scummy for him to not be thinking through Enchant's posts while simultaneously trying to get enchant to dance with him for the stated purpose of making enchant more readable - but I also don't really see the scum benefit of trying so hard to get enchant as a dance partner. That would likely be an actually dangerous choice for scum. Unless he didn't like his odds of not getting left behind?

It literally just occurred to me that enchant was never dying this day phase. Because there are less ladies than gentleman.
There comes a time when I must reflect about my set up laziness and general lack of grounding in the games I’m in.
Today is not that day.
