The prod muddies things up a bit, but I don’t see a wagon forming to compete with Enchant.. They have done nothing in the game to compel me to champion them living..

I’d still love to see some action from the ones that proclaimed that’s the lim for today, but I’ll be lenient for now based on the prod, but once that gets cleared up I’m hoping to see some action beyond the words.

The Artist was tentative, careful - but just shy of jubilant. He’d created a work that, even hours later when the thrill of completion had faded and the lighting had changed, stirred him. It was precise, imperfect, devoted, instilled. It was made of only three colors, and little did they mix.

The reds flourished.

The yellows glinted.

The blues swept.

And the Artist exhilarated. His Muses spoke to him clearly. The way forward was clear, and with this return to basics complete, he was ready to delve back into the titians and the smalts. He was ready - then why did he feel so nervous?

A lull enveloped the Artist. He’d tasted success yesterday - he’d felt the blockage slip away from him and knew he stood at the precipice of the Muses. And yet, as he straightened up behind his canvas this morning and held brush aloft, ready to lay down the first brushstrokes of a rejuvenated creative mind - nothing happened. No inspiration struck him, no bolt of lightning invigorated him.

And yet, he felt no despair either. This was not like before. He was not blocked, but his Muses were distant and muffled. The Artist, nonplussed, lay his brush down and laced up his walking shoes. Perhaps today was one of reflection - not painting nor a lack thereof.
