In that game he didn’t.
He did do it in this thread though, which feels like a tactical mistake. The whole paragraph and that post in general is tortured. I want you all to go to sleep though. And in the morning I’d like to ask Lukewarm to try to restructure what he meant or what he was getting at or if he’s trying to twist himself into knots because he doesn’t want to admit to a contradiction, didn’t think it through, or just posted that way because he’s getting frustrated.

Though, I am being somewhat generous.
I still think your defense is scummy Dunnstral.

It really is just scorched earth defense, it’s also referential to other games in a way I don’t usually witness you approaching other people’s arguments as town. You usually keep stuff in thread without going out and digging up meta, but here it’s just the opposite.
In regular world context it’s bad that you’ve spent most of the game trying to live and very little time trying to find and kill scum on your own without burning charcoal on your feet.

I feel sort of stupid this game. Or rather I’m getting deja vu to when Cabd called me densd Which is honestly, every game now that I think about it. But it’s true so it’s hard to complain.

I just want to see lukewarm take another crack at it before making judgments because I can see his patience wearing thin and starting to make mistakes. I’m just not sold they’re scum mistakes.

In post 1090, Dunnstral wrote:So, we have actual metrics to work with here. Dunn's posts: 24. Total Posts: 505-668 (probably the most fair somewhere in the middle). Number of players: 13.

Is Lukewarm's statement factually correct as they know it or not? This isn't theoretical, there is a real answer to this question.
You are completely ignoring the fact that I have also previously said that I don't keep up with that because I don't really buy the spread sheet as a good way to read you, despite it being a fun exercise.
In post 1559, Lukewarm wrote:I don't use this to read him. I have not actually run the numbers on any of his games since.
But sure, lets run the numbers in that spread sheet. I still have it laying around.

24 posts out of 505 is 62% of posts as a percent of the playerlist, which is flagged as red. (and a higher then other scum games on the sheet - Isekai and True Love)
Being more generous, 24 posts out of 668 is 47%. That is still flagged as red in my sheet (everything over 40% was red), but objectively I likely would have called that a Null result, despite it being higher then every town game on the sheet.

And right now you are at 118 of 1092, which is 140%, which is dark red, and is the new high record on the sheet.

I did not ever look at the sheet, but as of post 505, the sheet would have called you scum. And right now, it definitely does.

I guess it's fair to say that I never ghosted in this game then.

That one’s more inline with what I would expect town lukewarm to say, except for the numbers bit. I thought he might think it beneath him as not elegant enough.

Also, I did wanna say I appreciate all the effort posts. This has been a fun game for me all things considered. I haven’t read everything as close as I would like. But still. Thanks.

Good night. Work tomorrow.

I have to say that this post, quite literally made me laugh after being incredibly frustrated just moments before.

I am truly going to bed now, because I would like to leave the thread on this high note.

Good night.

This game was fun up until like 4 pages ago and it will probably be fun again when the involved parties shut up about meta and mathematically calculating lurking

My key points fell into neither of those categories, I gave several qualitative critiques of two slots' posting in this game, none of them initially involving me, without reference to meta except very tangentially.

It does require you to read something written by me, which is admittedly unfortunate and probably too much to stomach.

Good news: I can understand those ones. I even tracked down the datisi post. I think I commented on either 800 or 774 myself at some point. I'm giving myself a gold star.

Reading that again is just pushing me back onto "let's kill noraa" but I feel kinda bad about it now.

prism is efforting but i get vibes of her effort being devoted (mostly, with some sidetracks) trying to solve the game rather than her trying to control the game. i think thats enough for me to feel like i can townlean on her for now

It is probably objectively untrue but prism has so many self meta posts that I've started feeling like that is all she posts. Will be a valuable reread for me someday when I have more spoons than usual

i don't feel like i can really decide between luke/noraa/dunn bc it changes like every time i read a new batch of posts. i think id rather noraa > luke > dunn be left behind rn but im pretty sure as soon as noraa shows up again and starts posting ill be swayed again, so whatever

luckily i don't have to make that decision
