Normally, I love getting beat and voted out as scum.

I was looking forward to the postgame for much of the game. I have fundamentally just been putting on a parlor trick showcase since somewhere around page 3. I love talking about where town was exactly right, where I went wrong, what got picked up, what didn't, the good bets I made, the bad bets I made, and the constraints I felt in making them. It's weird, but typically no one is happier than me when I lose as scum. My favorite games are all losses. I love celebrating a job well done and attributing praise where it is due.

I'm simultaneously deeply concerned about the ramifications of what would have happened were I town, and what the out of game consequences would have been. I am glad I am mafia and I am glad my position was such that I was not once tempted to emulate that world convincingly.

I don't really think I can advance one of these viewpoints without betraying the other. I found this game disturbing.

Perhaps above all else, I am disturbed as to what the implications are of my scumflip for future games, whether I am in them or not.
