No one except me so far has said that this game isn't just out of skitter's or ari's scumrange but also not outside of Irrelephant's scumrange. And with the recent trajectory I wonder if Mena is right and the team is STD/Irrelephant

nk do you wanna talk about how during coalition forming you were dead set on one team and nothing in the world would make you reassess but then now you've proposed like uh... 5 different teams now or something? and keep jumping to a new one and disregarding whatever the previous one that you were convinced of was?

I was dead set on ari/dats but an ari yeet seems impossible so if it is that team we lost. So I can try to find different teams... and now that I looked at these interactions between STD/irrelephant I am no longer actually convinced that it is ari/dats.

Just like... reread EOD1. menalque loses all sense of reads when he has a chance into the coalition. NK15 loses all sense of reads when he has a chance to hammer a coalition with mena. Three of us tried really hard to get a coalition w/o menalque and it failed, but probably would have succeeded if scum had wanted it. menalque and nk15 are just haphazardly trying to find anyone limmable today. It's a wrap (I hope and pray)

This would be a great case if the plan for a me/NK15 team was “Step 1) hammer coalition step 2) ???? Step 3) magically win in elo”

I don’t have particular thoughts yet beyond what I mentioned earlier which is that I think it’s questionable if you would tie yourselves together so much

i feel like some of it is nai he's been busy like have you asked yourself if scum!menalque just doesn't have enough thread presence here because he's been busy? i mean maybe you're right and he's been too laid back to be scum i dunno i don't really know what to do here

this is a fair question ... i played a whole bunch of games with him pre-hiatus
and a couple post-hiatus, including a scumgame

and like i guess tbf it could just be he has no time or energy at all
but like when i compare this to his last scumgame (around two months ago), i really do see notable and stark differences, including:
- real opinions that he keeps pushing / cares about
- somehow has less influence on the gamestate
- isn't seeking to infuence the gamestate
- isn't tryign to buddy people or find 'compromises' that more townread people want

which seems p different to me

i very strongly don't think mena's case on std comes from scum:
- i think that this is a read he feels very strongly about
- i think that scum-him is very aware that std is not getting flipped today so this is a lost cause
- don't think scum-him puts nearly this much energy writing up a case on someone he knows isn't getting flipped today

i guess we can make an argument that there's scum with him in the coalition and he doesn't want to flip there
but like i can't imagine he thinks that this will actually work

I don't think I've been trying to rush the day at all.

You should know that I want you to push someone inside the coalition because pushing outside is kind of a non starter?

We didn't put all the LHFs outside to begin pushing them now coalition has failed.

when most of the time scum are just trying to avoid getting elimmed if they are getting elimmed.

so they do things because it gets people to townread them.
