Why only do it after Enchant basically threatened to co-hammer with NM? Up until that point he felt adversarial/in anti-spew mode. As a result I had to minimize my focus and give deep thoughts. That’s what the stuff I called “too late” feels like.

In a way, it was both! I sniffed out that he wanted to maximize town death, but that was hinged on my knowledge of my alignment, so it technically was OMGUS.
