Yeah, everyone is scum tunneling you + ??? and nobody is seriously looking at the slots they just want to let slide instead of actually solving the game because they're so hung up on where their reads are right now. Are you getting it now? I want more substance and less fluff out of the people that we're letting slide. I got what I wanted out of the Somnus wagon, who's up next: whiskey, rad, cheap? I'll choose.
It bothers me that WD townlocked Rad so hard he wouldn't even consider this slot out of all of the other people on the Vasex wagon. Doubled by the fact that I actually think it's pretty unlikely there were two scum on that wagon, and it would have been incredibly easy for either one or both to just sit out and watch it happen with how quick it was.

I'm just confused at what you hope to gain here Corwin. You're voting what most people consider an obvtown. Maybe I'm scum playing a good game but you haven't given any reason why I might be scum besides wd townlocking me? Huh? Ok so are you saying it's wd rad scum team? Or do you think just putting a vote on me is good pressure?- Corwinoid

What I'm saying is that everyone is so tunneled on one particular solution they're not looking at anything else and I want more genuine pressure on more people to get more real information than what I've seen so far. Almost nobody is using their vote to get information instead of blindly offing the people they think should be offed. Nobody has really given a good reason you're town either other than having you town locked for... what? You were dead center on the Vasex wagon also, and skated on sheeping my anti-town argument but everyone is hyper focused on BBT/Cheap for theater or BBT/Bella for being too friendly this entire game to even seriously look twice at you.- Rad

OK I hear you man. But you're the only one voting anyone without a reason that they're scum. I have you reasons for my somnus scum read. Do you like them? Do you dislike them? I literally think somnus is scum based on reasons and even openly thought through some scenarios where I'm wrong. Can you tell everyone some reasons for one of your scum reads besides " this guy hasn't gotten any pressure today so maybe he's scum". I'm currently reading you as town because reasons in my last post so it would be great if you scum hunted and had opinions we can all analyze instead of Rando vote me wd or cheap with no strong explanation of your view.- Rad

Right now I just want to reiterate something: I care about what peopledo, not how I feel about them. So far I think half the people in this game have been lacking in the doing department.- BlueBloodedToffee

Hi!
I find cheap mostly scummy, although their last big post I did start to see some things I could call 'town'.
My tldr - their massive proportion of posts: votes day one (which is very different to today)
- on the two e-1 wagons but got no pressure for it
- their day two start reads make no sense. They scum read me? That was...not in evidence at all. When challenged, I didn't get a response that made sense
- isn't massively pushing anyone today?
-There's a weird vibe from somnus, cheap and corwin that me and you / other people are 'bad/doing it wrong'. But all three slots can't be scum.
- will not engage in a back and forth with me. But see previous point
- plays/writes in a way that I find hard to read/would be more likely to scum read no matter what.- BlueBloodedToffee

I thought the same until I looked into it and a lot of the things he says just don't add up. The thought processes behind them feel manufactured and I can't really explain what I want to say. It's like he's notreallytrying to solve the game.
I initially read the finger pointing at Cheap with no votes as likely meaning he is town...but I'm not sure why? Especially when you and myself have come under so much pressure for being on D1 wagons...it has to be a scum driven agenda and Cheap got no heat. Is that just because he is scum?
I agree about his D2 start as well, his reads were way off what they were D1 and there wasn't really an explanation for it other than 'I reread the game'. Read progression, again, doesn't feel like he is trying to solve the game.
He has poked and prodded today, but yeah, no real push until getting on my wagon - which seems the easiest choice? 5 out of 6 players were scum reading/willing to vote me at one point so it's path of least resistance.
I saw something from Somnus that made me think he is town. It's a little basic but it reads genuine to me and I'll get to it in a sec. I actually think the way Cheap constructs his posts makes me want to town read him.. Until I look at the actual content and then I realise x, y and z.
Something that seems to have been forgotten as well is that Cheap's vote on Vasex was the worst out of the lot (on par with Corwin?) and again, it's gone unnoticed. I feel like that would have been an easy push for scum to at least start the Day... But nobody did. Same for Corwin. Is that just because it's Cheap/Corwin??Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. I was rereading Somnus and as I read this post it felt like an 'aha' post. It feels genuine, Somnus thought he had solved the game. I think I have equated bad town to scum which is a trap I can fall into when I'm being scum read and I don't understand it.In post 879, Somnus wrote:Oh I'll be posting later today when I'm back on my PC. I've got something good for you all and Rad is to thank for that. Post 864 got the ball rolling for me and is going to end up being one of the most important posts of the game.
This is a good unvote, by the way.
I can't really explain it any better, but yeah, this is how this post feels to me.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- Bellaphant

I find it very hard to town read somnus when none of the follow up is there: he's fixated on me being shit town in the last newbie, but the newbie before that we had a 'perfect' game and I was on both scum elims. I've tried talking to somnus about Luk ewarm in my last game, and how it impacts my read on you ..nothing. I've asked them about the e-2 mistake, which I do still think is important - if people want to scum read you for e-1, then they have to decide whether you knew it was e-1, nothing. Even the fact I've bought up he played the elim me gambit for vasex and was wrong... nothing.
There have been bits of both cheap and somnus I could town read but then it gets drowned out.
Corwin is still a huge pile of null to me, which is worrying.- Corwinoid

@Rad, you were bait, but I can't leave that up while I'm asleep and can't check in on the thread periodically. Sorry fren, I wish I could have explained it sooner.
UNVOTE:
Does anybody really think both scum were on the Vasex wagon instead of at least one sitting by watching us do it? We keep cycling between the same players, and it's really frustrating that all of them, except Somnus, were on the wagon instead of hunting off of it.- Corwinoid

If you think Cheap/Somnus might be the team then let's go. I really don't like Somnus' "I want out of this game anyway" after his gambit -- that reads exactly like a player who's fed up with playing scum and genuinely wants out.- Corwinoid

I wanted to see if one of certain peoples jumped it quickly, especially off their normal hours. You know what, fuck it, I was looking at you and Somnus. I think there's enough on Somnus it's safe anyway, but I wanted to know if he'd go any-other-lynch-except-me after the gambit fell through.

Rad is my top town read, yes. There are certain features of his play that are simply not scum. An example, but not the only one, is that handing his vote over to someone like he did earlier is just objectively too bad to be scum in any reality I belong in. There are a couple of others I don't want to comment on right now, but he's practically turned himself into an IC as far as I'm concerned. If I'm duped by this and in some fantasy there's a Rad/* team then we're just losing right now.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
