Not sure how I feel about this? Like purely from looking at the setup, sure.
But there's people in those minigames. The scum team knows what minigames they have a good chance of winning and while the mechanics impact it, a game with less win% for scum in a purely mathematical sense doesn't mean that's what it actually is in practice.
Sillyposting could be the easiest scum win at the moment, purely off of the circumstances of the 3 people within it.
So acting like this is the what this switch means is a very closed off way to look at the game imo. It worked fine as an overview pregame or day 1, but at this point it's no longer that simple.

marci, while I suspect you're just trying to force through tone, if there was deeper strategic intent behind it and you were hoping in your opener that you could exploit something along the lines of an unreadable 1v1 of Signs, that is not how this minigame works unfortunately.

The blueprint for that involves

He dropped into the game, and saw me calling you scum for locking in, and jumped to us being partners. Still has doubled down on that making any kinda sense, which feels like he was not actually thinking about it and was just looking for people to call scum.

Like, if we are partners, me calling you obviously scummy from the jump feels like I would be sacrificing the game you are in right away. And it does not really make sense for me to set you up to lose the "easy" scum mini game.

And he has latched onto the line that if I were town, I would have locked into SGB -- while simultaneously not having locked into the SGB game himself lol

And his approach feels really similar to my own in the last game, where I faked confidence in ari being town and pav being scum all game.

This was my thought when I pointed out that he called all three people who posted page 1 scum.

Like, it seemed more likely to be coming from scum looking for people to scum read, then for town actually trying to sort a list of 8 players, and landing on it being the three first people he saw content from.

I'm happy enough leaving marcistar to her own devices so I'll take a step back and let other people contribute for awhile. I'm especially interested in more from SGB.

I'd like to think the Sillyposting lock was town but I'm not going to call alignment on Lukewarm quickly now that the stakes are high. I'm happy enough with the current arrangement.

I will also continue to offer unsolicited, condescending but well-intentioned wisdom on occasion, partially out of goodwill but partially to let it sink for her what a mistake this was.
