This as an immediate response seems a little questionable given that my post strongly implied she was using a mechanical reason for the hammer, and she later went on to dispute that point. I think that's more than pedantry, that's the basis on which the entire inconsistency that I saw was resting.

pedantic. Your issue was that it wasn't believable that I could think of that reaction test while simultaneously deciding Pav was likely scum and hammering him. When I realized it was important to you, this was when I explicitly elaborated on the mechanical side of the claim.

I don't really see the issue here. I think my posts make clear what the qualitative issues I'm claiming I saw were, and the record is there backing it up.

I'd think back to your experience with me hydraing in Scumsman. The episode you probably remember is my coaching about exactly to get townread by Alyssa, who I had never played with before, but there are other episodes you probably don't remember: Coaching Pine and instructing him exactly how to structure posts/pushes, fleet footwork regarding Farkran, who I had never seen play town, resulting in an unshakeable townread on our slot. My primary concern was that we were mechanically lost via Pine's insistence on playing Warcraft in conjunction with the timebomb on the Imperium claim, as our role made it impossible to fakeclaim. I also did not really play much or take any interest when I was townread without trying.

Justified or not, it is a fact that I have near-total faith in my scumgame. While I try to get my partners to be confident in themselves and make strides on their own, if the game is at stake I will do everything short of logging in and making the post for them when they fail to do so. There is a very extensive record of Notes/Scum PTs backing this claim up.

Perhaps I should be honored rather than repulsed that people think I would use my partner's online status to ensnare him in the bus, rather than just seeing him post in the Scum PT and working with him directly to accomplish something or another.

hey y'all, happy to see that I'm confirmed town and I got four friends confirmed alongside me ^_^. it makes me feel a tiny bit better about posting a glorified prod dodge for now as I'm tired and plan on rereading substantial parts of the game with all these confirmed alignments in mind tomorrow.

I also pushed marci fairly strongly for a lot of D2. I eventually evolved it into a "maybe you're town and Gamma is scum" read, but she never fully left my POE

so my question here for marci scumreaders, why do you think scum!marci clears two of the people most likely to vote her, instead of skitter or Meuh?

normally I'd say VC 2.5 is a fairly decent look for skitter but I need to reread the context to see where we were with the monarch plan at that point and if skitter would have reason to push elsewhere if there was a chance Pavo could be saved

I do not have sufficient context or knowledge of Day 1/2 to answer this.

My vote is far from committal and is a purely reactionary spitball to what my impression was of how universal a townread she was based on secondhand description Day 2. What I remember of her dayplay was even +town. I am likely to hit the drawing board again or review later given that Isis seems to think it was not universal.

I think this makes the most sense in the world where Gamma is protecting Pavo and shading TUF around 2299 and she just kind of tried to ride with it?

Like maybe she wanted to distance off Pavo, shade him a bit, then once he became a thing she took the nearest off ramp.

Then when Faker replaced into the Gamma slot and unvoted it killed the wagon and she jumped off pretty fast.

I think rereading the section of the game from 2051 where Meuh first votes Pavo to 2305 where she moves to TUF, I don't think it makes sense for her to do this because Pavo was kind of not very townie in this stretch and fruit didn't do much scummy stuff?

2887 really shook me tbh and it made Pav's alignment kinda click in my mind. I'm aware it's a bad thing to do but I felt paranoid about my reads of the game being too simple and it scrambled me up a bunch
Pav being scum felt too simple despite him being scummy which is largely why I decided to vote on Fruit. I would've switched my vote off of him earlier but I was committed to the royalty plan and so around that time I just didn't care for moving my vote
and like I'm glad I supported it since this happened

Faker still feels town from the way Gamma played but I need to take a look at the arguments about her EoD play. Like I've read the arguments but I haven't really absorbed them properly if that makes any sense? My 5 am brain is not ready for that
Marci I feel like could be scum at this point because I think something she likes to do as scum is just rely on making a bunch of posts that seem tonally good and almost too scummy to be scum while just lacking actual content. Which checks out here.
