Gera hasn't chimed in since the claims but would be very interested to see where his vote ends up.
I can see Toffee's vote on Gera making sense from either aligment, but unless everyone rushes onto Gera I don't think that wagon is happening. His activity is so sporadic that there's a chance he may not pop in before end of day.

P-Edit: I'd rather Toffee over Gera but I'm starting to think we compromise on a NotMafia.

I really, really hate having no confidence in who to vote this late in the day. Honestly, on a quick re-read BBT's vote on Gera looks worse than I remember though. It comes out of the blue and he never showed any sus on Gera. He hadn't even talked about him once between #1396 and #1702 where he voted him.

Actually BBT not only never shades Gera at any point, he has several posts in a row where he shades Gibus, then immediately votes Gera without a word after Gibus claims and asks people to join him.

He didn't even make an argument. The only one who made anything resembling an argument was me, and I did it well after BBT's vote.

It's because scum!Toffee needs to vote there. He's been openly townreading Vivax so him joining that wagon would stink. He's also like the only person NotMafia has claimed to have a townread of so he probably doesn't want to risk losing an anti-town slot that thinks he is town (presuming NM is town - that or he is his partner). Trying to force a last minute Geraintm wagon is his safer option after the Gibus claim.

I DO have doubts and think there's potential that Geraintm is scum, but I feel better about Toffee wagon over Gera.

Also worth noting that there's only two people in this entire game NM has given any sort of read on and that's that he thinks Vivax is scum and Toffee is town. So potential info there.

Calls me scum immediately, votes me, immediately after asks to kill Gibus for no given reason whatsoever, then votes Eira for... No given reason whatever. He only votes for Gibus after voting for Eira.

There is so much Gibus shade here. There is also a ton of Vivax defense here. There is very little else. I'm surprised I didn't remember all this Gibus shade stemming from so far bacl. He votes Gibus a second time 100 posts after the first one despite never actually unvoting.

The only time Gera ever shows up is in #1396... Where BBT asks for his read on Gibus. There is no precedent in here whatsoever for him jumping to Gera. This guy is probably shading Gibus in nearly half his posts today, and calling vivax town in several others. He also completely ignored the Elsa train.

There's a lot here that actually doesn't feel like solving on closer inspection.

I got paranoid because he did have a point about Gibus's apparent lack of scumhunting and the notion that scum!Gibus would share only his townreads because he knows who is town.
But a lot of his shade comes from really null early game stuff that honestly could apply to other players beyond Gibus anyway.

I can see the scum motives in all of it too. He goes after me immediately because I'm unraveling and it makes me a presumably easy target. He doesn't know at the time that's just how I get sometiems That doesn't get very far, so he starts shading low-posting Gibus and votes Eira for apparently no reason. That goes nowhere, so he jumps onto Gibus where there is some scum sentiment towards him and spends almost all day shading him relentlessly while defending the primary opposing vote to further his attack on Gibus. When Gibus claims, he's stuck, so he votes for the next most likely guy to be voted off (Gera), but he doesn't actually have an argument ready to make and blusters for a little bit trying to get people to vote with him. Once that didn't take off, he essentially vanished.


I said when Gibus claimed I felt like he was probably a train scum have been pushing on all day. BBT does actually check all the boxes for scum here upon really scrutinizing his ISO.

This is partially because his ISO is godawful upon scrutiny, and partially because I'm trusting Alex. I honestly had let BBT get under my radar. I didn't really notice just how much he'd been hammering on Gibus and basically ignoring everything else.

This is a much, much better vote than Vivax.

He tossed out 2 votes with minimal-to-no reasoning, and quickly got off when they didn't take off. Then he voted Gibus, shaded him for like 450 posts, completely ignored the rising countertrain Elsa, and got off after the Gibus claim to toss out another vote with no reasoning. About the only town read he was giving out was Vivax, the initial countertrain to Gibus, and he did it like a dozen times.

That's how he plays feels like an insufficient response. Is it "normal" for him to toss out early votes like a madman, then shade someone for a billion years while mostly ignoring everything else?

We have no posts from Gera for 16 hours and no posts from several others for 9 (before the game suddenly went dead and apparently I was the only person to exist). Gera's really the only player we have yet to hear from, and I would like that to happen. It's not "mandatory"... But it would give us a better picture on him.

Though I have to force myself to go to bed soon because missing tomorrow morning is non-negotiable. I should be around at least an hour before deadline hits if it's still going/in dusk.

Kinda wish I really dug into that BBT ISO sooner. I feel like I saw the things Alex has been seeing for the last 2-3 days.
