Me, I'm a town read.In post 564, Klick wrote:Got any townreads other than Rad, T-Bone?
There I read myself as town now no one can question the validity of my reads!
Its early, I have some feelings but not ones I think are worth sharing. Just to help ground to what I see. I believe the majority of posts people make aren't alignment indicative by themselves. I'll usually key in on one or two posts or a body of work. I haven't seen anyone post anything I'm looking for yet to help decide alignment, and it's too early for body of work.
I named Rad town to cool off what I felt was momentum against them. I have an impulse to try and protect people from railroading early on.I have a Twitch!
I have a Youtube!

To TBone - in the simplest terms, unless I'm misunderstanding you, your theory is that they have faked a posting restriction, no?Can you explain what my theory is in your own words, and why you don't think scum can?
I don't think that it inherently can't come from scum - it just strikes me as a theory that's more likely to come from town trying to think things through and coming up with unique ideas and suggestions as to how other players are approaching the game.- Enchant

I also don't want to cause that's not a fun thing to do. If the restriction is actually real then we'd just be dicks about it and that would make an unfun restriction even more unfun. The obligation is on them to not hide behind the post restriction at this point. We don't have any obligation to do anything about them at this stage. In post 569, Frogsterking wrote:We can force them to post the rest of their 100 words under threat of being wagoned and then watch whether their slot is required to post again on D1?I have a Twitch!

This is a weird thing, but I kinda mindmeld with Malcolm with myself in a different game.In post 579, MalcolmTucker wrote:

Makes me feel better about calling Malcolm town.In post 344, The Bombay wrote:I also don't think that she would have chosen this particular angle to push even if she did decide to see if she could make it happen, because scum LLD would already know that the restriction is true.
Also, does make me feel better about T-Bone too.I have a GTKAS now! - Come ask me questions!

I think both ways of handling it are viable options, I think the best argument you put forth is that we don't have any obligation to do anything about them at this stage, and the obligation is currently on them to contribute the best they can and not hide behind the post restriction. In post 581, T-Bone wrote:

I've been thinking about something you once told me... and you were wrong. It's not Batman that makes you worthwhile; it's the other way around. Never tell yourself anything different.

That's a correlation != causation. It's players who aren't getting townread by myself or my townreads. I'm hoping a few of those players will say more and get ruled out.In post 496, Enchant wrote:Did you just pull all lurkers in list.- BlueBloodedToffee

UNVOTE:
@rad, this is going to sound a bit rude, but I really don't mean it to - I think you are displaying a bit more personality/confidence here, which I'm correlating with your success/pride at the newbie. I did wonder if the 'flair' was scummy, but the main body of your interactions with people, especially around the frog thing, seemed town.
Someone asked about ceph, I'm mainly sheeping klick here.
Enchant is purely a meta read. They are very different to how they were in a recent completed game where people wanted them correctly limned by about page five.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
