It's one am.
I dunno why I have so many people putting me in their scum pile. I have 129 posts, I'm not a hard sort. This shouldn't be hard for them. But there I am, in the bottom half of half the player's reads.
Um. I don't think I want Cephrir to die anymore. Since they sort of jumped through my preferred hoops. though it's fairly subtle.
I do think some people need to back track a little and start taking safer reads/stances. Since a lot of times I feel like they're town binning people for poor reasons or just because they responded to them.
Then again.
I wonder if I gave Malcolm a pass too early because of what Luke said. *hmm*
Shrug*
I'm also pretty curious why nobody is voting me even though there are a bunch of people that have my really low in their reads list.
I'd say it's because I'm their scum buddy.
But like.
I'm not scum buddies with anyone because I'm not scum.- Dunnstral

To people who haven't played with you before, this can be taken as manipulative. I think that is what most of them are seeing - you being manipulative. In post 1552, Bell wrote:I dunno why I have so many people putting me in their scum pile. I have 129 posts, I'm not a hard sort. I don't feel much from Roden.
T-bone's scope is narrow. I do think they appear consistent. But that's not really townie. They're eccentric and happily so. But it'd be nice if I saw more from them even though, I shouldn't because I kind of feel I'll just be disappointed. So why. Well, I guess because I want to sort them early so I know whether it's a drag them to the finish line thing or not. Then again it's day 1 and I can safely ignore them instead. But that's not really my style.
Penguin's focus on T-bone I'm not sure if it's because they're acquaintances or they really like them or something. Or if it's a meta thing. I'm not sure if I'm misinterpreting their posts but it sort of feels like they're gradually becoming alarmed at T-bone's play, had a crisis and then decided just to chill on it. Which is a hell of an internal world to fake. But they're also just giving really plain takes. I actually don't care much for spicy takes for the sake of them, but they seem...safe to make. Which is fine I guess.- Bell

I'm pretty sure townreading and scumreading somebody is mutually exclusive. You're saying you were doing both at the same time?In post 1560, Bell wrote:I dropped a TR on them but I never explicitly stated I dropped the scum read there. But I just did.- PookyTheMagicalBear

It sure is one am.
Let me try that again.
I didn't really say I was town reading Cephrir and had changed my mind, I just put him in the town pile.
I just explicitly stated I changed my mind on Cephrir and I think they're town.
I did want Cephrir to die in the early game because they were being themselves.- Bell

...While not really the case here. Have I never given you the speech about how I tend t make town cases and scum cases for everyone and choose which narratives makes the most sense to me?In post 1561, Dunnstral wrote:

It's usually something I do late game. But I've had a couple of people get tripped up and then keep tripping on themselves because they can't comprehend the mental gymnastics involved.- Cephrir

Klick why did you flip your read on me
I was thinking about how you would approach this as scum. At first I was thinking you wouldnt come for me early because youd see me as pocketable for you
But actually the timing along with the knowledge that bella is likely to sheep your vote per her implying as much makes it seem conveniently timed"I would prefer not to." --Herman Melville,Bartleby the Scrivener- PookyTheMagicalBear

This!! This is my issue with bell. I like a lot of their more flowly posts (in fact some on this page) but then stuff like this feels really constructed and like it's shaping a narrative.- Galron

What about Cephrir's moans about being an auto scum read on day 1. Do you think that's a manufactured narrative? I think you might make a good point, but if you're thinking that way I don't think it's just Bell. Actually more I think about it I've seen this from Ceph before so it may just be good m.o. Bell I'm not so sure about. I should probably delete this but I want to think on it more and this will serve as a reminder. In post 1569, Bellaphant wrote:In post 1555, Dunnstral wrote:
