Rad is town for like 20 different reasons. He's got takes that look genuine that make little sense from a scum point of view (like thinking scum have little influence in a gamestate like this - I think that's a hard towntell because I doubt a member of a 5-person scumteam feels that way at all about scum influence). He's really focused on solving. I don't feel like Rad is trying to manipulate me.

Taly is Toog.

Taly I think Bell has the vague demeanor of a Disney villain yet to reveal themselves, does that seem normal? My only game I can remember with them I was in a Hydra that I was in the back seat for

I just checked OP because, you know, common sense.

Umm, so neighbourhoods should probably be sorted, no? I know it's flavour based but indulge me.

Ethan infiltrates the camp of the survivors from plane crash and pretends he was one of the people on the plane. Could this be done in the form of a T/S neighbourhood?

Also, 2 neighbourhoods with T/T doesn't really make sense to me? If they're all town just make one of them a masonry or whatever?

I'm not great at game set up, but like, based on flavour I would think there is scum in the neighbourhoods somewhere. If someone is widely enough scum read from the neighbourhoods, that would be a good place to start

Don't have any.

@Klick, while I don't really think you're town. Because I don't really think someone with your level of experience uses "They seem self-aware" as an argument.
It's verifiable that I am very self-aware as town. It's a personal idiosyncrasy.
There's a reason I've said my scumreads are weak at the moment.

Equally though, I think arguments along that line of thought are totally valid and 'with your level of experience' is tangential to that

I am actually not against this on a voodoo level. But on my perfectionist tendencies the idea of trying to outguess the mod in a game where the story (I have wiki'd a lot of it) has a lot of people get shot, captured and beat up for being misidentified. While also having some cases I think if I recall of them being correctly identified, captured and then fooled into believing they're innocent is actually a thing.

Therefore.

It's very wifomy, but it might be fun.
But I reserve the right to complain if Taly flips town.
Because it would be bad for the town (and me) if that happened.

Yeah I get that, it was just something that popped into my mind as I saw neighbourhoods being mentioned.

I'm not saying elim someone because they're in a neighbourhood. But if they're scummy AND they're in a neighbourhood, well that's just a bonus.

I think that the way they are treating me comes from town them. Calling out Toogeloo early in pt is towny. Their reads are believable. When they are scum they are more stilted.
PT? Who is in it?
Spoiler:
In post 657, Toogeloo wrote:My PT partner brought up the fact that they don't trust me, that I could be scum, and that I basically asked for a free pass through Day 1.

For those not in the know, I was involved in a head on collision last Friday night. My kids were in the car with me. I was ambulances to the ER, but thankfully my kids walked away with minor injuries.

I am doing some daily physical therapy and we are working with lawyers and insurance right now, and in my down time I am trying to relax and rest.

I don't anticipate this being problematic beyond this week, but if people feel I'm getting a pass, or need to replace out, I will.

---

I have not read anything other than my PT. I actually didn't consider the possibility that my partner might consider us unaligned. Based on my show knowledge, I actually would have thought us Masons if my PM didn't specifically call us neighbors.

My role is Shannon, my partner is Boone. We are in a PT called Kissing Siblings, which I don't recall them being incestual at all, lol.

At any rate, I will get to this eventually.
In post 1041, Taly wrote:hey lovelies it's the beakiest bitch of them all ;)

uh I only read this past page and I think Gal/Rad town/town is above rand

Theres like 5 scenarios I imagine mutual paranoia going between S/S and T/S and "how would you react to that" and "we do this all the time so is this valid?" do not strike as scum dialogue

Also Bell townlean for healthy caution in the PT
In post 1124, Bell wrote:Though in this case, the reason I pushed Toog is because they posted in thread that they were in a PT and that this implied that they were townie when there was no such indication.
I was uncomfortable with them implying that in thread as a request for a pass.
In post 1125, Bell wrote:They also harbored zero doubt on my alignment. Asking me to summarize the game for them over the weekend.
It was weird. But not scummy weird. Just weird.
yeah no...i hate this post rather than just answering the queston with names.

It doesn't help that I would absolutely fake paranoia on my PT buddy as scum.
I did this with LLD.
But like, I did it because that's what I would have done as town anyway.

...I do get the super villian/master manipulator/plotter mistken identify award.
One time someone said I seemed like Mastina, writing in my PT about how much everyone is an idiot but me.
I was town in that game. But.

Do you see, maybe if you used a narricist lens on me it would solve for me.
But I personally think a trauma informed lens would work best.

Mostly, I'm just trying to do what I normally do as town which is:

Hunt/solve the game.
Get town read.

It's an assumption based in probability tho.
You could put down any player and another player as scum and you'd be wrong most of the time.
In general scum rarely claim neighbors with each other, so you can tentatively add to that probability.
I've never personally been in a game where scum claimed masons/neighbors early in a game,
But I've heard stories of it happening and I would absolutely have been one of the suckers that would've gotten fooled there.
