I'm not sure why people are scumreading bbt. It started real early and I don't get it but I haven't bothered to look deeper either. I thought the neighborhood suggestion from them was reasonable and I don't know why anyone would oppose that other than we don't know who all are in the hoods. And are they hoods if there are just two members? But their post about hoods is what spurred my question about your pt. But really their suggestion about hoods is nai, although it does show some impetus to solve maybe. I could iso them I guess but day 1 large is a crapshoot and I don't know that I want to put in that work at this point. In otherwords, I don't have much to offer on bbt. Where do you have them?

I'm actually a little surprised Rad doesn't feel that way too.

I believe I have a good feel for the difference between scum!BBT and town!BBT, but he'll have to ramp up his activity before I can test that theory. He's just null right now. His town and scum play is pretty similar, so it's not really a meta read per se, it's just that his intuition comes out differently as town vs scum.

See I'm not hip on scum BBt right now. It's too easy to catch a scum read early and then every thing you do comes under heavier scrutiny and is presumed scummy. Rebutting that presumption puts you on the defensive and THAT looks bad. It just kinda snowballs.

First part of this post is LAMIST - making it obvious that they were trying to 'sort me'

Stalling to make time for reads is also bad. As if I couldn't generate them on the spot if I really wanted to. Or even just disengage from the thread and come back another time given my activity levels thus far.

Tone and diction are buzzwords. This in no way clarifies WHY they think I'm scum. Poor generalisation.

One scum in Roden/BBT/Corwin is such an eclectic group to tie together. What interactions do they have that leads you to believe all this?

It was based on PoE, not interactions.

I'm rethinking my PoE based on Rad's point about Blue's activity levels, my new take last night that Roden is townie, and CSF's initial gut take that Corwin is townie.

Assuming that my PoE was wrong, which seems likely, there is at least one scum who is collecting town reads, and Corwin/BBT/Roden may be getting scapegoated to some extent. I think Ceph is a great example of a slot who fits what I'm looking for and is playing well within their scum range.

Okay, I thought their entrance was weak and forced, the list in 1580 is exactly the kind of do-nothing-look-active list I hate, and some of their posts like 1719 feel like a weak attempt to pocket Bell.

It's partially gut but I've played with

multiple times against, same alignment, and as a hydra. Difficult to verbalize but I don't see an agenda, a lot of their posts look like doubtcasting at face-value but they read to me as a genuine thought process and critic.

townread and their interactions. In my opening page, I commented on their interactions their and the initial read stuck, especially with

, a lot of it is disagreement with the assessment of

, but I'm a biased party as a PT partner. So I thought to watch how that read progresses without my commentary.
