i think questioning your reads to make sure you haven't missed something and rethinking from a different angle are good things that result in accuracy

I don't think we're all that misaligned with how I need to improve my game, and I don't read you as scum for it. But it sure isn't a great way to keep my motivation up if you're town and you read me town. All good here though, let's focus on next steps.

Why would I ask someone else? You claimed my entry was wolfy. I wanted to see your take on them claiming they were town in a different way. I don't think you should necessarily read them as scum. Where did I say that? That's an interesting conclusion you're drawing from a simple question.

It's pretty heavily implied by the context - the 'more or less wolfy' part in particular only makes sense if you expect me to find it wolfy to some degree. Not sure where you're going with this reply.

toad's entrance is mainly focused on getting distracted by this nothing argument. i was going to suggest that i don't really see how his read on rad turned all the way around with only two posts from rad neither of which i find tremendously interesting in between, but toad does address this later so instead i'll just write this paragraph to prove i had a thought process. to tack onto a later point, the last bit of this post reads uncomfortably self aware to me

So like the difference between anti-town and scum is

intent

and finding it is what sepereates the newbie queue from "the next stage" as you put it. Of course is hard to separate ill intent from bad play, especially when we literally have zero information, but that'swhat keeps this game fresh. At least for me.

Ceph dipped a bit into scum leaning due to his 1493 which I leaned towards a scum motivation over jaded town motivation.
