I also don't want to cause that's not a fun thing to do. If the restriction is actually real then we'd just be dicks about it and that would make an unfun restriction even more unfun. The obligation is on them to not hide behind the post restriction at this point. We don't have any obligation to do anything about them at this stage.

I think both ways of handling it are viable options, I think the best argument you put forth is that we don't have any obligation to do anything about them at this stage, and the obligation is currently on them to contribute the best they can and not hide behind the post restriction.

Also never answered TBone, but Nancy has a very specific play style and meta is a large part of that. I just found it hard to believe with how long the two of you have been on site that you have never crossed paths and you would be aware of that but I guess not.

I didn't get much from maths' posting, which is strange because last game with them I was adamant about them being town to a very unbella-like point of intransigence.

Penguin looks like a slot who may have slipped through the cracks early on. I recall Bell voicing suspicions about the slot's inconsistent presence solving in the thread, maybe Bell posted this sometime around yesterday afternoon, and I'm taking those suspicions relatively seriously. I don't think any of my strong townreads are willing to go to bat for penguin and that's the sort of thing I'm looking for right now. Penguin maybe has more posts than what I'm looking for, but looking at their iso it seems their post count may be inflated and their actual content fairly sparse.

OTH is complicated because I don't have much experience with Hydras, and I've played with 1 head (Gamma) a very long time ago and none with the other head. I mainly ruled out OTH due to my stronger townreads being willing to go to bat for the slot, who have more experience playing with marci, so collecting new information from my townreads is going to be the biggest factor in how I assess the slot.

A couple other complications with the OTH slot are my initial interaction with the slot as well as the conflicting opinions posted in the thread regarding marci's scum game. My initial take on OTH was negative which points modestly to chances of flipping red, but it also means I'm more likely to be biased trying to read the slot now. I think the conflicting information posted about marci's scum game in the thread indicates an overall lack of experience playing with or against marci's scum game, as well as highly variable scum play from marci.

I also decided in answer to your question earlier about compromises on Ceph, that I'm willing to compromise vote Corwin because his claim that I showed preferential treatment to Mala looked like shade, and I respect the process I took to reach 1 out of 3 Corwin/Roden/BBT, I'm willing to stand by it as far as Corwin goes even though since then I've thought you and Roden seem more likely to flip town.

Yeah he's pretty sparse as both alignments.

I placed into the spoilers above the last time I went into my thoughts on penguin, and I also quoted one of my townreads who talked me down on the slot.

I'm sure there is another section here in the main thread where CSF and another one of my townreads explain further that penguin is sometimes limbait for the same reasons I was suspecting them.

I don't believe you can find it by looking through my iso because I don't believe it was in direct response to me. My guess is that the easiest way to locate that discussion is through BBT's iso, because BBT has been the strongest proponent of a penguin wagon to my recollection.

To actually answer your question now that I realize it is for me: I feel like you managed to pick out my two nullest reads of the list to ask me about.

Enchant: I find him incredibly hard to read in any game we have ever been in together, and I find basically all of his posts in every game to be completely NAI. I used to scumread him alot for his playstyle, but then he kept flipping town. Then I started town reading him for "Being the same as always" and he would flip scum. So, I have 0 metric to sort the dude.

Is there a reason that you think he should be higher?

PenguinPower: He seems to just be hanging out, coasting on the fact that he has enough town reads to not actually be in any danger. I feel like he has a lot of posts, but off the top of my head it is hard for me to recall any of them that are not joking with pooky or with t-bone except for a single conversation he had with OTH that I liked. That converstaion actually got him a town lean when it happened, but it was ages ago.

I have a perception about games, in general, that "the people whose posts are least memorable are more likely to be scum" -- so, I that is basically why my over all impression of him has slid back down to null just over time.

This is my current read on RCE/The toad too. I JUST got done playing a scum game with RCE but I won't claim to have a great grasp of his scum range and haven't read any previous RCE town game. Here he does feel less guarded than his recent scum game with me, and The toad was trending upwards for me too before the replace. I replaced into the previous scum game with him and I actually read the game in full before I read my role pm, got a scum leaning read from him there, and I'm not getting that so far here.

I think Johnny’s > rand likely to be town and don’t really have a problem with MT. Enchant is probably null for me. I actually liked RCE’s weird progression on us and still think Toad was different here than in Schadd’s game.
