Hi Klick! Can you point to some post(s) that make you feel this way? I have a harder time understanding other people's reads when they're in the abstract

So I suspect I'll get ire from a number of people for this, but I'll preface this post by saying that another read-through of Corwin's ISO in a different state of mind has me townreading him.

What I originally saw was more about what I couldn't see in Corwin's posts rather than what I could see, and as such it'd be difficult to demonstrate what I was seeing with quotes. I think Corwin has a type of posting style that I'm naturally likely to read as scummy, because his posts feel crafted to me. But I can see looking at his ISO now how the posts he decides to post come from town who feels like he's saying whatever is on his mind at the time.

This is a shit answer to the actual question you've asked here! But it's what I'm thinking.

But I’ll throw this in the ring as well. I recall someone’s argument for Roden!scum as the lack of slots coming to his defense. Specifically NO ONE coming to their defense. That’s just a sentence or two, do with that what you will.

Titus is still iffy on Roden but will reacess on Ceph if he’s town. She wanted me to post that. I probably didn’t phrase it right.

She said something about Math and Frog as well. What Frog has jack to do with any of it, don’t ask me.

Clarifying this. I think Roden's claim is shit. However, if I am wrong, I am persuaded by Frog's posting on Cephrir, which likely makes him town. It also makes me doubt my TR on Math in that setup as the early VCA where we melded could have been buddying.

On a side note, feeling pretty powerless IRL so that might impact my reads.

We had to also reply to the game mod to confirm our roles...so Toog forgot that they would have replied neighbor or something like that to STD?

After I saw the mason claim, I also did a check of who I thought that Roden's most likely mason partner was. My answer was Pooky.

I think that Dunn was grabbing those posts for a scum chat to suggest that his guess was that Pooky was Roden's mason partner, but accidentally posted it here.

Obviosuly, there is not a town motivation to highlight who you think Roden's mason partner is, so I think that this:

Was the best thing that he could come up with as to why he would have posted the reads list. He had already done the work narrowing down most of the player list (I was able to confidently discredit 20 of the 25 possibilities when I looked myself), so he just had to cross off the others.

I think that is why he then said that he was discarding anyone who put one another in Null, and is pretending like masons would not totally consider putting someone in null

This is also, basically the list of people that I had as potential Roden mason partners, with Pooky being my best guess.

Excluding 5 people besides Pooky for no reason is weird, but it's not like anyone one of those players couldn't come in and either affirm or dispute the claim. If it was me, I'd have just claimed and left Dunn's theory dead in the water. It's not really that manipulative imo, because if Roden is actually a mason and the partner claims then everything Dunn says is moot. It really only applies if Roden is fake claiming.
