Why are you focused on the No Elim possibility instead of trying to get Ceph voted out?

Is it just me, or does it look like she worried about Ceph flipping town? It ruins some of her credibly if he were to. And since she's calling Taly town, she can't compromise there instead. I know why Rad might advocate for a no lim, but I don't know why more experienced players would think it's a good option.

Fine if no vote isn't an option I'll vote taly. If it is an option, I want anyone who chooses to know it's an option.

You have a choice. Gladiators mechanically just limit which votes are registered toward two players. But no voting is an option.
I'm voting because my opinion is that asserting your power as town to eliminate another player that you do not know is town day one is the more solid play in general than not voting someone out.

Seems logical and I'll consider it tomorrow for sure.

Same with Luke's comments and tbone commented earlier which I'll look at again.

I appreciate the direction. I don't know how this should exactly play out and I appreciate input. I believe the 1v1 changes things but will consider all input. Also there are plenty in the game to just avoid my choice here so if that happens, it is what it is

Sorry, I was citing long established game theory that has been statistically proven, Luke just did a better job of explaining it. A no elim is the sub-optimal play, but it doesn't mean it can't be done. Doing so means giving the mafia half an extra kill in a normal game with 1 NK and 1 lim. It doesn't mean we can't do a no lim here if people felt strongly about it. But you'll find that because it's the sub-optimal play many players won't consider it an option.

There is a lot of math and scenarios on why KILLING YOURSELF is better then killing no one.

One example is that It affects how many protective have to land before the town is bought a miselim.

Like, right now a doctor saving one (1) player = an extra town miselim. If we no kill, then a doctor would have to save two (2) players to = an extra town miselim.

But also, info for looking back.

I was already lightly leaning town on Ceph before the gladiate.

I think that a scum!Gladiate from Ceph would be near game throwing levels of bad.

I am a mafia veteran I have been playing mafia for 6 Years.
I am to the point in mafia where I can tell where the mafia is and then eventually who.
