So which is more likely here?
1) We were on the right track last round and just need to guess the missing ROD clue to win. We mentioned TRUNK, PITCH, and LOCK as possibles.
2) We were on the wrong track.

If we're going to go for it, I would rule out PITCH; pretty easy to come up with a clue to link those two. (BALLS, 2.) RACKET and TRUNK / RACKET and LOCK; I couldn't come up with anything after a few minutes of thinking.

Yeah, I think something we've mentioned that has no association to Tennis is worth going for. I think LOCK is stronger than TRUNK for the rod association but TRUNK also the totem association

Yeah, that's a good point about TRUNK - if that was the right word, we probably would have gotten TOTEM 4 instead of TOTEM 3.

I'm not totally sure I have driving solved 3/3 either
most pressingly I sorta don't see a lot of other connections to love right away. note is probably the best one too, yeah.
it's possible that something was double clued for driving (you play driving games with a mouse?; driving machines have trunks?; aliens do be driving UFOs?; i'm drawin blanks)
