Not sure about the former but agree on the latter. The former I attribute to the wedding but I would think that the penalty for violating a post restriction would be mentioned in DNA role pm.In post 8198, Bellaphant wrote:I don't understand your last section - do you believe the post restriction? Do you not think it's weird that it hasn't been penalised? I find it weird that no one thought it was worth asking about the penalty
I’ve never had a post restriction except in a game where the entire playerlist also had one but the closest I have come to that was the threat of mod killing me if I revealed a vig shot during the day phase in Boon’s BTDT.Dance, dance~ Fall Out Boy

@taly, you asked about reads. My strongest scum read right now is still Johnny, I think I'm mellowing on bell, I need to see a lot more from best bird. I don't know how I feel about math but I thought his bbt point was at least interesting. My big read shift at the end of yesterday was that t bone was town, it's possible off the hook is too.
I don't know how to read professor drapion - yesterday I was scum with frog, and today their scum reads are weird. I also think the consistent push on CSF is ridiculous, as they are my strongest town read.
The klick replacement is still town. I think dancing puppets is town but their read on klick at the end of yesterday was garbage and looked opportunitistic in places.
I can't find what I said about you either but I was sure I said it!

Yeah agree. It’s of course possible but what’s the point of having a restriction if you’re not informed of specific consequences?
But I also don’t see either RH9 or Ircher lying about it either, so really don’t know what to make of that?Dance, dance~ Fall Out Boy

Didn't realise Frog was a rolecop. Was wondering about the kills but that makes sense now.
I'll reiterate one more time - flooding thread is anti-town at the very least. So much info gets drowned out.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- RCEnigma

Uhhh, frog scumread me for 1 singular page because I didn't explain why I moved my vote to ceph.In post 7925, ProfessorDrapion wrote:Oh yeah I forgot I made this during the night:
So during the night I was also taking a look at my original slot owners reads.
Turns out both me and him got wolf vibes from Frog.
Although he TR’ed CSF/Dunn/T-Bone, I however have not arrived there as I see them all as potential wolves.
His main wolf reads though were RCE and Bell.
So I’ll stick with my Bell Wolf Read.
Something I also noticed from reading my previous slot owners ISO is that Malcolm called out my slow owners reads despite them already claiming they copied most of it from Rad.
So that seems like potential scum motivation from Malcolm on my slot.
Even though Cephrir flipped town I still like the way Rad voted them. Also since my original slot owner town read Rad as well I’ll definitely keep Rad in my Townreads.
I think like half of your poe are town though. Math can stay in your poe though I'm fine with that.- RCEnigma

I wanted someone to die. It didn't matter who, I thought you were both town so whoever had more votes. Only reason I voted ceph was to end the day.In post 7943, Taly wrote:> RCE you were very similar in the regard of changing votes off little provocation, I want you to justify your votes.
With cephs flip in mind Klick's slot is pretty nearly locktown for me. I kind of want to say Nancy hydra looks good in the sense they seem uninformed. I don't see them approaching Ceph the way they did in the gladiate if they already KNOW that Ceph is town. Unfortunately you don't get the same courtesy because scumreading Ceph doesn't make sense from your pov. You were already on the hot seat, there is no reason for Scum!Ceph to stick their neck out for an elim that was probably going to happen anyway. I think Like pointed this out.
You, if you are town, should be challenging the slots that Ceph polled for the gladiate. Tbone in particular, idk who else Ceph pinged for their reads. Unless you truly truly believe johnny is town.- RCEnigma

Professor is highly likely town. Redirect. In post 7950, T-Bone wrote:My gut is that this makes the Professor look a lot worse (especially since there is like zero reevaluations after a bunch of incorrect reads in flips), but also I doubt the Dunn kill is about them. @Taly because I said I would if Ceph/Frog flipped town. It's also a joke? What a weird thing to get hung up on. Sorry, I'm feeling relatively good because three of my town reads were correct, makes me feel like I have good read on the game after all, something among other things at the end of day 1, I was doubting.- RCEnigma

Thank you. I wanted to do this but I'm lazyIn post 7994, T-Bone wrote:Well with that info in mind I think it's worth discussing....
DNA posted 101 words by my count. I checked myself five times. I did not include signatures, and I counted the number strings as one word each. I must have a major Blindspot to keep finding an extra word. It's possible. So some other players should count their ISO when they get a moment.- Off The Hook

I mean I brought it up as one of the first things I posted about on Day 1. It's not like the concern came out of nowhere. Don't give Rad credit here, I also brought it up today. In post 8196, MalcolmTucker wrote:
This vote is also very lazy from Rad. I understand the desire to check C&G complied with the posting limit but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some rather simple ways around it they exploited if they appear to be slightly over. I simply refuse to believe a slot would fake a 100-post restriction and then end up accidentally going over by two or three words, and I think any pushes there today could potentially be lazier scum trying to avoid going for a contentious target. In post 8038, Rad wrote:Mod makes up post limitation as a game design element and ignores it? I don't buy it.
Player gets limitation and doesn't care what happens if they go over? I don't buy it.
2129 isn't a naked quote, it's a quote from one of the hydra's players who accidentally posted under the wrong account. If the player didn't accidentally post it under the wrong account, it would have been a 2 word post under the C&G account.
Fake post restriction.
VOTE: Cytosine and Guanine
Also Corwin must not have asked C&G about the penalty either. Seems like a pretty reasonable thing to ask if you're town and want to know what happens if they go over it. I mean why not? That's not something we want them explaining when they're restricted to 100 words. But Corwin/Math could have easily found out if they cared and let us all know.I have a Twitch!

Lot of their posts toward the end feel indecisive in a way that's quite unnatural, as if they were unsure where to lean. Manage to go from voting Taly, to advocating for no elimination, to then voting out Ceph in a relatively short space of time. The progression doesn't work for me as being from town.
I originally wolf read Rad but their post about Cephrir felt like a genuine thought rather then scum having an excuse to vote somewhere.
Remember, last day wolves were in a position where they can lay back and not have to do as much due to us pushing ourself.- ProfessorDrapion

You may have missed that there was a gladiate between Ceph and Taly day 1, which kinda messes with this line of thinking imo
although from a quick skim of taly's iso.
they didnt have an initial read on ceph before the gladiate and their case against ceph centered around the whole gladiate thing being scum motivated.
This could probably be excused due to it being 1v1 but still a bit of bad look.
will look forward to how they will bounce back today after they were wrong on their reads. - ProfessorDrapion
