Of course, people won't look at certain other people because meta or some other BS until it gets to D4 or something and they start to open their eyes.
This meta circle jerk that goes on makes the game extremely difficult to play and difficult to insert myself into. I simply have to wait until meta players decide to reevaluate or even consider other viewpoints. It's usually too late by then though, it also gives scum players a great place to hide.

VCA is trash. Also, the nonmeme explaination is with so much posting a large amount of people missed large chunks of the game, so as wagons shifted around between like 8 people in the course of a few days some people had static votes for something kinda out of their control. Remember we got a whole host of people to 6 or 7 votes in relatively short amounts of time.In post 8815, Lukewarm wrote:I did a thing
Spoiler:
I have literally never done VCA before in my LIFE, so feel free to tell me how bad this is.
But itfeelsunlikely that we had dueling town wagons on Frogster and Cephrir for multiple vote counts and 0 scum out of 5 decided to join either wagon.
(The following is in reverse chronological order)
VC 1.15: Johnny, Luke, Galron(Drap), BBT, and Pooky on one of the two wagons.
VC 1.14: The same
VC 1.13: Same +bell
VC 1.12: Same
-------
Movement after that: BBT wagon starts forming, with it being a majority confirmed town5 BlueBloodedToffee (Dunnstral, Cat Scratch Fever,Frogsterking,Cephrir, PenguinPower)
As the BBT wagon starts, Dancing Puppets and Enchant both join the Frogster wagon, after staying off of it for many VCs.
inb4 BBT comes in to call this level 0, but I want to say that this looks like a BBT+enchant scum team tbh.I have a Twitch!

You don't.
But simultaneously saying you bet someone will flip town without attempting to a) try and stop it or b) redirect elsewhere is scummy as shit. I also feel like it was the same I dunno, 10 people changing their votes and driving all the wagons? And then a few extra people contributed to the high post count without vote movement (me, for example).
I don't know what I'm really defending, I guess I'm trying to protect Luke from bad gameplay idkI have a Twitch!

BBT, I get the scum angle here, but how is it any more convincing than the town angle of "that's just literally how he's thinking about it"? He just joined the game yesterday. If he's town, doesn't it make sense that he'd be looking at the Math wagon and trying to figure out how legit it is, and after some time reading he might have that basic level of certainty/uncertainty? I mean shit, I've read the entire game and that's about the level of certainty I have on the Math wagon as well - not certain at all and something feels off.In post 8846, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:You bet Mathblade is town = confident

Are you basing your vote on anything else besides this statement from him + Klick explaining town reads easier than scum reads?- Mislim Bait

oh I assure you that this would definitely happen but not in the case of 'wolf me trying to look good' but more of a 'I'm better than any town here' kind of scenario. In post 8855, BlueBloodedToffee wrote:You don't.

But he said he bets Math will flip town - that shows he has at least what he feels is a solid read on Math. But despite this, he won't defend the slot.
I don't understand it at all.
Klick explaining town reads but not scum reads is scum indicative. It's extremely easy for scum to explain town reads because of the extra info they have. It's much more difficult for scum to fabricate scum reads on people they know are town.
However, due to Luke's VCs I have noticed something else. I looked at the wagons that had at least 5 votes...
Klick was on the Ceph, Math, Roden and Mala wagons. He was on 4 leading wagons at various points in the game.
Same for Bella. She was on Ceph, BBT, Roden and Mala. She has also recently positioned herself to rejoin my wagon should it take off. Extremely opportunistic, as was her comment regarding Math.
Pooky has been on 3 leading wagons - Ceph, Math and Frog.
CSF has been on 3 leading wagons - BBT, Roden and Mala.
DP has been on 3 leading wagons - Frog, Math and Mala.
Various people; BBT, Best Bird, Luke, Enchant and Prof have been on 2 leading wagons.
One of my main takeaways is that from all of this, Luke's main takeaway was that I stayed on wagons too long? Like what?Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- Mislim Bait

That’s a really good point. And also, this waiting days nonsense - like seriously dafuq? - Math replace out only just happened. It’s not like we’re at like d7 and that slot has yet to be filled. That whole thinking is seriously whack. In post 8838, Rad wrote:
Let's keep in mind we're also waiting on a dwlee replacement, which I would think happens before the math replacement. So waiting on a math replacement to happen and for them to create some reasonable content to finally decide could mean days of waiting. We have also lost any more math input with regards to c&g pt interactions. I'm not sure how to best proceed there. In post 8833, PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:that's impossible to predict but you have to weigh the balance between fostering game apathy by waiting for a long time for something that might never show up and like actually just getting something done?
I'm lean scum on math right now but I'm not liking how he's the easiest push, even before the replace out. Like math himself and even corwin feel scummy but the conversation around his wagon since the beginning has also felt off, so I lose my confidence in it.Dance, dance~ Fall Out Boy

Right, I proved how Luke used the VCA and somehow managed to point the finger at me for being on two wagons and not notice that yourself and Klick have been sat on 4 different leading wagons during the game?
4 different wagons. Ceph and Roden being confirmed town as well (Roden not 100% but very likely)Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- BlueBloodedToffee
