No, that's not right.Usually, at least one good town player is going to be obvtown, and one town player, good or bad, is probably obvtown in nearly all games. These players are nightkilled in normal mafia. Here, not. That's very protown.

Like, I agree with you that I personally don't enjoy playing in mostly mountainous games, but that doesn't at all mean other people don't enjoy playing them. I tend to shoot wide when designing setups and try to target varied audiences with each.
