Mostly because Nero hadn't done anything out of normal range there, fmpov, so I wanted to press a little bit and see if she had any deeper reasoning for making a town read there. She did not.

I think pushing on flimsy reads early on in a game can be a fruitful way to catch scum before they find their footing.

I got an early game gut ping from Nero. I explained something from him I found towny. I think there are other reads you have not applied this strange standard to. This push still feels really weird to me.

i really cant form an opinion about skitter at every game we're in. it's the profile picture. the glassy pixelated face of a tiger. makes it hard to assign a personality.
but she seems proactive and solvy in an organic way. our last game she was scum and i secretly thought her posts really felt forced and awkward trying to bus me this might mean she's town

but im not sure thats inherently town? i think that kind of meta-based read is easy to fake. i thought gl's case on me was reachy (altho i am biased), but didnt have a problem with it insofar as all early game cases like that are going to be reachy

I guess I kind of did answer this actually. I think datisi is kind of making up reasons after the fact around his ari play, and part of that is this assumption that I MUST rvs vote dats because I do frequently.

Datisi is well aware that I don't play the opening of games the same all the time. I take different approaches based on my mood and what I think will be interesting. It's just a contrived thought process to me.

I don't think it's a good towntell, and in case it's not, your TR-ing Meg may just be an early attempt at pocketing as far as I'm concerned.

I feel like it shouldn't be difficult to believe that a townie might townread someone who shares their perspective and says what they're thinking before they say it. This line of questioning feels like busywork to me, honestly.

i think scum would draw more from cues they get from the town and it's harder to come up with a read that isn't being floated but would resonate to other people ie me
