It's not my native language, "couple" meaning more than one but comparatively few to the overall amount. I feel like "couple" being 15 or so is appropriate when referring to, say, 60 odd pages on a forum, vs. Being 3-5 people out of 20 odd.

Fwiw I was sassing back so I will also apologise, I was being pedantic - it's not my "native" language but I speak it fluently. Regarding the others, I'm just catching up on what's happened since I joined in so I have not read roughly 16-51 or wherever it was. I lean scum towards marci also, I see that slot and FireB initially posting lots of filler but FireB does the usual and when pushed swings into play and I liked the posts then. I tend to scumread fire's early RVS stuff but objectively I like the play after that. What I see of Marci seems to just continue the filler shitposting stuff and I think it's fair to say we're a bit beyond that now

HEM check: Also somebody who makes me smile to read. A bit more aggressive style, but it's consistently so and not defensive or mean. It works for me. It's a lot more reactiony, which is fine. That being said, it feels like he's got cards to play but he's keeping them to himself and only teasing hints of them now and then. I don't think it's AI. It's just more, has a reason to only share thoughts when they're relevant and the most likely to get genuine reactions from their thoughts. Precise is probably more correct. It reminds me of what I've liked from FlavorLeaf in the past. I largely feel good about him. It's just as possible this is just good scumplay, but nah I don't think so.

this is my first game on this site (and i'm new to mafia in general - i was just googling places to play forum mafia because i've been part of it in an irl group and enjoying it), so i apologize if i come off as newer with some basic things. i wanted to join a newbie game first but was also anxious to get started. if anyone can update me on anything mechanical that's happened, or anything like that (or any general tips) i'd appreciate it. overall i'm pretty good at telling when people are lying irl, but i'm not sure how well it'll translate to the forums (though i think in general i'm good at reading people?) so i'm looking forward to getting some practice in this game. i was also kind of dreading a mafia role PM so i'm a bit relieved to be town.

but anyway, cliff notes and such would be appreciated. i realistically will try to read back in bits but getting through 66 pages seems impossible. oh also, i figured out how to isolate people so if there's names i should look at and such, i'd be glad to

I'd recommend just focusing on staying present and responding to content that happens now. I generally think that's a lot more valuable than reading back but ymmv

xofelf maybe bothers me a lil' b/c its all fluff and no content. I very vaugely remember playing with them before and scum reading them for similar reasoning. So maybe it's more of a NAI thing.

That quote is one of my issues with Nero. It's very wishy-washy and seems to be ignoring a very obvious next-step that could be used to determine whether that is AI for xofelf or not.

I'm waiting for more on "elephant is townie because their posts are geared towards solving" I don't really find that read scummy but I'm intrigued by the strength yet seeming lack of depth to it

idk marci occupies this weird liminal space where they are not really doing anything beyond just following the status quo reads wise. in fact I get the vibe that their main goal right now is to situate themselves among the big blob of active vaguely towny ppl. And I don't get the sense its a case like ydrasse where marci secretly has a bunch more reads and conspiracy theories behind the scenes that she's just not sharing

there's nothing in particular I can point to that's like, scummy on its own

but I'd like to see her do more
