Also, I want to remind everyone that this game has a bastard element. I'm not sure that we've seen that element yet. I have a theory (that I'm not sharing), and it would explain why the game is classified as bastard.

1) From Guanine: He thinks Yeet is null; Yeet's slot hasn't done enough since Day 1 to maintain an early town read.
2) My final guess for scum team is ProfessorDrapion + Best Bird. I think the way Best Bird's play today reads SvS with Drapion.

If C&G is town, kill Drapion tomorrow, don't let him talk his way out of it. We might have to re-assess the POE a bit from there, since we're down one kill. I do somewhat believe C&G because it doesn't make much sense for C&G to be the one to carry out the kill with two scum left and Drapion already claimed that they were going to track there. We obviously still have to kill C&G first, though. Maybe Drapion knew that if he didn't die tonight, he would be outed, and so he might as well take someone with him. Hard to say. It's also possible that the 5th mafia cannot carry out the kill for some reason. They could have some ability that prevents them from killing. Traitor would probably make mafia too weak, so I doubt that would be it.

I said my last post would be... my last, but I'll make an exception as I don't expect you all to casually connect the dots here.

Here is my theory: scum have an ability to cause a player to flip scum. Scum which includes Drapion used it on us last night (or at some point in the game). Drapion then fake claims a guilty on us to seal a free mislim, and we flip scum because of the ability. That ability would be the bastard element because we are aligned with the town. Drapion then coasts to victory. It would probably explain Drapion's reluctance to state their result. They were probably double-checking to make sure they didn't mess anything up. As farfetched as my theory may sound, I think it's bastard enough for the mod to advertise the game as having (nontrivial*) bastard elements while not being overly bastard. I also think it matches with this game not having role pms flip.

I guess the only alternate explanation is scum (which doesn't include Drapion) have an ability to tracker-frame someone, and they used it last night on us to score a free mislim on both us and Drapion. It's a possibility, but I honestly don't think it's likely. Drapion's claim has had issues throughout the game of choosing poor tracks even despite the Bella track.

Option 3 is scum Drapion is confident their partner can coast to victory. It's plausible, but I'm not sure that even Drapion has the guts to do that with two alive masons and a fairly solid PoE. It still would make me wonder though why Drapion would guilty us here when they could probably still get our lim without a guilty. After all, they could always claim our partner made the kill (and that would almost certainly be true).

(* - It has to be nontrivial otherwise the moderator would have probably specified precisely what the bastard element was or could be.)

I also had this assumption. I think that fits as something sufficiently "minor". Moderator lies, such as wrong alignment flips, definitely qualify as "major".

You think that would qualify as a bastard mechanic?
I have seen multiple instances of the dead being able to influence the game after their deaths, and they have come with a spectrum of mod disclosure
I feel like it wouldn’t get this “ooh there’s this SpOoKy BaStArD eLeMeNt that you don’t get to know outright but it will only have a minor impact”

Maybe the restriction is just real here and game integrity was broken and no one cares about that but me
