What relationship? There's a sweet spot for player enjoyment that usually sits around 25% of the game being scum. Too high and it feels like town has no control, too low and it can feel hard to find scum. In this case just 4 scum is possible with the extra mechanic in place
I'm not opposed to flipping Ircher here but I'd like it acknowledged that a town flip means that scum was most likely to saw them slipping first...Because their perspective allowed them to. The slipping mind is most attuned to the slipping action in this case, the hypocrisy being their undoing.

um, I was discussing the faction ratio because it was the topic in the game thread, and stated i thought 16:5 was likely. Ircher used 17:4 without explaining why in a calculation without talking about it. This is not the same situation.In post 304, PenguinPower wrote:

What I do care about is Ircher freezing. Ircher's last log in was today this morning after he was first asked about the question regarding his assumptions. While it may not be a slip, the freezing doesn't look good.ShowThe scum had the misfortune of Titus being absurdly accurate on day one.Really quite impressed by that.~Drixx

I also think 4 scum is possible - I think Ircher using it in a calculation without even talking about it is possibly a sign of TMI, which wouldn't be the case if we had 5 scum. People seem to be thinking I'm either scum or stupid for saying I initially thought there would be 5 scum and I am trying to explain that I believe it to be standard.- PenguinPower
