Final reads are (Uncrowned/Titus/Mastina/Ausuka) contains at least two scum.

Mastina knows my meta and should know I'm town here, this isn't BoP either because she understands my mind set and knows how to emotionally set me off and can inform the rest of her scum team how to do so.

Titus has done literally nothing and it's in her scum meta to try to get town read through AtE (the drunk posting).

Ausuka is still scummy from before for retroactively scum reading me when I pointed out the contradiction in her vote.

You know, outside of mastina (which if you flip Town, I’ll reconsider strongly), we really don’t disagree as much on our groupings. Mine is mostly contingent on your flip to be fair, but if you flip Town, I agree I wouldn’t vote for Lukewarm and try and get Titus executed, and I certainly would take a hard look at Ausuka. I already think Uncrowned is somewhat suspicious, but that read has faded into the back of my mind.

But I can’t push Titus in good faith on the day after they helped drive Scum into the ground, despite the fact that they’ve thrown shade in ways I didn’t find intuitive (the criticism they got about their statement that S_S / Ircher were Scum definitely resonated with me).

I have been staring at this too long, and my brain has turned to mush.

I am struggling to find The Thing that scum have been doing wrt to these wagons, but the "But so many counter wagons" argument feels like a bad argument.

When I just look at the movement of votes, I almost get a feeling that both wagons are town and scum just don't care.

I just don't see the movement to save Roden (very little effort to consolidate onto which ever of Titus/SS wagon had the most townies planted on them. All SS voters moved to Roden. If you take out Roden himself (who is scum in this hypothetical), that makes like 2/3 Townies on Titus for most of the day, and therefore not as good a choice over SS)

But I also don't see the the movement to save Titus, because basically all the people on Roden were there before the Titus wagon actually got above 3 simultaneous votes.

It does not match my read on Titus, but when I look at it that is what it feels like. -- Unless maybe both scum partners were already on Roden from early in the day / when he was being obstinate / revealed that he lied about part of his role, so were unable to move when Titus started getting pressure?

Mass vote moving pattern recognition is not really my strong suit, but once I got started I kinda got stuck here for too long. idk

There’s no world where Titus and Roden are both Scum right? Like I don’t think so, but it’s not a real thought anyone has had thus far right? What you’re highlighting as to the vote movement I don’t find silly in the least actually. I took the overall feel of the game state as indicating that maybe Scum are trying to move away from Roden, but if the voters that tried something else all moved back to Roden, it could be that the Scum Team feels like mastina’s push is so loud, they have no choice but to be on it, OR both Roden and Titus are Town and this is going down the tube.

I don't think I've noticed anything that unusual or noteworthy about the votes - I'm not exactly convinced Roden is scum, but if he was I don't think there would be movement to save him. Similarly, I wouldn't expect scum to fight too hard to save Titus or prop up a counterwagon - I think scum are often cautious to act in a way that associates them with their partners and I don't think either slot endgames here most of the time.

Like, I saw Vivax vote, I saw Andres comment, and I decided that I was just gonna hammer because half the lobby does not seem to be playing the game, and the half that is does not seem to be interested in moving their positions any more this phase (me included to be fair), and I feel like at this point a Roden flip is not the worst thing in the world, even if it flips town

the day seemed to be slow, both on the customers and on the discussion fronts. you were currently taking your 7th scheduled group coffee break of the day, and it seemed like nobody had any new ideas. most of the employees were mindlessly looking at their phone screens, occasionally saying a word or two.

at one point, the discussion lulled so much that you were able to hear what was going on in the manager office: an explosion, followed by Datisi screeching something about someone not being a gamer. by this point, you knew it was better not to intervene.

"you know what? it's obvious this is not ending any way other than Roden getting fired," Lukewarm said as he put his phone down and got up from his seat, "i'm gonna go let Datisi know."

a few people absent-mindedly nodded in agreement; Roden rolled his eyes and kept staring at his phone.

after a few minutes and just a little bit of yelling and threats, Lukewarm was back in the break room. Datisi walked in right after him, visibly pissed off due to his manager "business" getting interrupted.

"so... Luke told me you want me to fire Roden, right?"

"yeah, yeah, whatever," said Roden as he approached Datisi, "

'return the company's belongings'

, here, take it." Roden shoved his ID into Datisi's hands, and kept walking towards the door. "i expect my last paycheck to arrive by the end of the month."

"oh, and also? all of you are ugly anyway," he said before finally slamming the door behind him.

Datisi took his phone out to scan Roden's ID, all while he tried his best to not show how offended he was. a moment later, his phone beeped, showing an [EMPLOYEE SUCCESSFULLY FIRED] message.

just as he was about to complain about the fact he'll have to hire another replacement, one of the employees put his phone down and looked at the rest of his colleagues.

"'my last paycheck'... wait, you guys are getting paid?"

in only about a few minutes, Roden's comment about paychecks turned the quiet break room into a shitshow. the employees were loudly arguing with each other, most of them taking their phones out to recheck their bank accounts and compare their wages.

"now that he mentioned it, i'm not sure i've received my salary for the last three months," said Vivax in a weirdly passive-aggressive manner. this was followed by a few others shouting that he should be lucky for his paycheck to be only that late.

"am i getting paid, Datisi?" Ausuka asked in a deadpan voice, though Datisi knew she was far from apathetic on the subject.

"okay, you know what? how about we all take the rest of the day off, eh?" said Datisi after clapping hands, in hopes that it would get the employees' attention on him.

"but..."

"i said, get out," as Datisi was saying that, he opened the door and gestured for them all to leave. the tone of his voice showed that he was on the verge of a breakdown, and since nobody wanted to deal with that, they quietly started leaving the room. after all, they could compare their wages later in the company group chat, which Datisi obviously wasn't a member of.

"GEORGE! WE'RE CLOSING EARLY, GO BE USEFUL FOR ONCE AND CLOSE THE CAFE, I HAVE OTHER WORK TO DO," Datisi yelled out as he headed to his office, already typing "mafiascum.net" into his phone.

as Datisi was heading to work the next morning, he saw he had about 42 unread messages on his phone. he figured it's nothing urgent. if it was, they'd call, right? right.

entering the break room, most of the employees were holding some sorta papers in their hands, chatting with their colleagues and comparing the papers. when they saw Datisi enter, they put the papers away and stopped talking, though their faces were not happy.

"well, good morning to you all too," Datisi said after a few seconds of silence. walking over to the table, he pulled out more ripped ID cards out of his pocket. "i found more of them this morning, only two this time. they're Ausuka's and Vivax's. i checked the management app, they're both gone."

"Ausuka and Vivax, huh?" looking around, the two of them were the only ones from yesterday who weren't present. "say, Datisi. so it's a coincidence that the two people most vocal about their paychecks wound up getting fired and erased from the management, and that you were the one to find their ripped IDs?"

a few seconds of silence passed, Datisi's face holding a blank expression. "it would appear so, yes."

a few more seconds of silence. "oh well, i gotta go back to my office. try to not screw up again today."

Just shouting wifom is a cop out. Scum can do literally anything, the point is which is more likely.

I just don't think it is very likely at all, that given the situation that he was in, he would take that avenue as scum. And therefore, it being the truth is the more likely reality we live in.

You don't think it's likely at all, because that fits your worldview.

Scum players and scum teams can and do have widely varying reactions. Maybe it's dead in water, maybe it's as little info as possible, maybe the amount wouldn't make sense, maybe the whole role is a fiction, maybe he's scum truth telling
