If it makes you feel better, I was treating this game as if it were, effectively, multiball with me as one of the scum the whole time (optimal play imo for the masons), which meant that I really

playing to my scumgame.

(Sorry, Cakez, for being fast/loose on the trigger there. It might've been the worst possible elim for the town but it was genuinely something that I knew could give me scumcred if push came to shove. Ditto Frogsterking/Nancy. You both were fine townies, I just needed to make sure that the town won which meant playing like scum.)
