I can't believe a town mindset!math only reason for town reading me at this stage of game would be the setup observation I made in my first post. that sounds aweful

I hated yumes reappearance

mastina continued to say absolutely nothing and nothing and continued to act like she is solving

and I can't believe no one is talking about the stuff I pointed out on mastina and my read on her slot that I spent multiple posts to elaborate on in this morning. like no one felt the need to discuss it or even disagree with it?

I'm a bit curious. How does this differ from mastina's other games? It seems like she does this kind of stuff every game.
In post 866, furtiveglance wrote:A few thoughts:

2) 4 of my townreads are on Mastina but I don't think it's a good vote still. Pre-empting the 'why wouldn't scum get on' argument, I feel like they don't really need to.
3) Radical Rat's vote for T-Bone may be worth following because both slots seem to be null/scum for a lot of people, and they aren't on a team.
4) I was/am assuming 13/2/2 in terms of the numbers, maybe with a recruit or something. 11/3/3 seems too scumsided if both teams have a kill.
5) I would like more votes on Maid Cafe, but I'm also happy to lend traction to other wagons by voting: Radical Rat/T-Bone (preference T-Bone), Bunnyonce, Yume, Child of Fairies, Dingle Dangle Scarecrow or Enchant.

No I can’t.

I can however know she is incorrect in my role due to some posts she made.

Without outright claiming and explaining, I can’t explain more.
So you two definitely know each other are scum but can't say why.....and you both have the same mysterious and OP power role.
I have said why Mastina is scum. Several times and the fact there’s a wagon means I am doing a decent job.

And no. Mastina is arguing we have similar roles in order to try to get me to claim.

If we actually had similar roles she wouldn’t care and the problem takes care of itself.

Based on what she had said I find it highly unlikely we have the same role.
What if Mastina is a different power role and has misinterpreted your cryptic crumbs?
Possible but I find that unlikely.

She’s hyper focused on me to almost the exclusion of all else.

If she was a town power role I don’t think she plays this how she has.
This is a bad assumption.

Both Dusk and Dawn function as normal Mafia game eliminations, as well as Noon and Night function as normal mafia game night phases. They are functionally identical except they are distinct.
So it seems that Noon is the night phase for the Solar cult and the night is the night phase for the Lunar cult. In other words, based on flavor we can guess that the cults are even/off phase mechanically. But guess we'll see when we go

I townread FA for getting into what I feel is mech spec that makes sense. It’s clean and concise and well laid out. It’s clear that it’s a hypothesis and not absolute. I can follow the premises made directly and I feel like I am in FA’s shoes.

The Hypnotoad compels you to.
We have a mountain of conversation to look through regarding Professotic's alignment, but none of it gets addressed. Instead we get "sheep Mastina with me or I'll get mad".

But Math has to thoroughly case every single one of his town reads or Yume will "disappointed".

Yume is not actually playing or solving, this just feels like a desperate attempt to save a scum buddy.

-Measles
This is typical from Yume. If anything, it's very slightly +Town for Yume.

I'm pretty sure most of my reads are in contradiction with my hydra partners' reads, which is fine, but I'm putting that out there. I'm not going to be overruling them because I'm not paying as much attention.

Why do you say that is a bad take for FA?

And why is it obvious regarding Yume’s question? I don’t see how Yume is reaching that conclusion.

It’s not the ONLY reason. Again I can’t do cases while working.

It was addressing a specific question that I only TR those who scumread Mastina.

I used that post to demonstrate the TR before she attacked me

It is not the only reason.

I find it counter productive to add to the bloat.

You said it well and said so before.

I am already probably going to have to spend an hour + on cases later.

I was thinking about something that just struck me:

"why would a town mastina claim that this is not my town meta and is my scum meta knowing that this is multiball and in multiball scums would also solve the game just as they were town"

The whole I have a meta tell on FA that she never explained, doesn't even make a logical sense to pursue and she who was setup spectating to think about numbers had to know that and have that back in her mind when trying this perspective to sort my slot

so have another reason why mastina was not solving there and that was a big theater

pedit: ok then. still feels weird and out of place to just show that when demonstrating your town read on me

I don't even get what you town read of that mech spec post in first place

Pedit: not talking about you specifically actually. wonder why many other faces who commented in last few pages just went past my reasoning for the scumread when addressing their take on mastina

I think you’re losing the context here.

Yume argued I am only TRing people for reading Mastina the way I do.
I was doing my best on my phone to demonstrate I had a TR on you before that point.

I know it’s awkward without all the pieces in place but I had a good reason for saying things the way I did there.

Work (in theory) is wrapped up and I might be able to break in a few hours for how I see players after dinner and weekly mom call. Will see.

Hmm so Mastina/PPF/Bunny as one team.
GTH maybe Dingle/FA/Radja as the other.
Bunny could be scum (I don’t think so but I see a logical possibility)
But I think if Bunny is scum it’s not with Mastina
I just don’t buy Bunny highlighting a Mastina imho fault the way Bunny did while on the same team.

Trying to get an all town wagon day one is not a goal in multiball. It’s elimming scum.
Oh hey guess what??.

I'm town.

Guess what???

The entirety of one scumteam is voting me.

Guess what???

Someone who is very likely part of the OTHER scumteam is voting me.

4/5 of the votes are from scum. (T-Bone will look back at his presence on that wagon later and realize how badly he fucked up. In a way that imo clears him as town, but like. I'll probably be dead by then and him still alive so I won't be around to defend him after he realizes how badly he fucked up by joining the all-scum wagon.)

It's ALMOST like...
Oh, I dunno...

...Both scumteams think that I am a member of the opposite scumteam and are convinced that eliminating me is safe.

...Surprise!!!

Turns out that I am going to flip town because I am town, and after I do I want everyone to come back to this moment in the game and fucking sheep me.

I was RIGHT about the scum being teams of 3.
I didn't know it at the time! I literally said "approximately", because I DIDN’T know.

But BOTH scumteams thought that I scumslipped being part of the opposite scumteam.

Not one scumteam.

BOTH of them.

To repeat.
To reiterate.

One scumteam is {professotic, Mathblade, Frozen Angel}.
The other scumteam is {Bunnyonce, Radical Rat, ???}. (Currently best guess is Radja.)

Neither team believes that I am town, both teams believe that I am scum that is genuinely sure I nailed my counterparts and simply lying about my own team, but both scumteams are in for a NASTY surprise.

Namely, that I am town, and that, yes:
After I flip, they're FUCKED.
Because they can't escape that my townflip hard-incriminates them. They can't escape that they TMI'd.

They'll certainly try to!

You can already see MathBlade laying the groundwork with his posts, where he lays out the "in the unlikely event that mastina is town".

When I DO flip town, take to heart all the players pushing me now and how they have to spin things after the fact.

After I flip town, do not let ANY of professotic/MathBlade/FA/RR/Bunnyonce off the hook for pushing the narratives they are.

Because this is genuinely a guaranteed town win if you chain eliminations through all five of them.

They think that my flip will give them breathing room, but my townflip HARD-condemns them.

And you better fucking believe this:
If you don't eliminate them after I die and I am inevitably shown to be right:
I will NEVER let you forget.
I will bring it up in EVERY interaction we have that YOU fucking let my D1 solve that was correct go to waste.

(That said, if you think that I am asking to be eliminated D1 and then posthumously sheeped, FUCK no.
We can get a perfect game by eliminating those five, then tracking down the sixth.
My role is strong enough that I shouldn't die.
And most importantly of all, I don’t trust you flickers to actually sheep me after I die. I am DEMANDING that you do. But I know that you won't. I'll hold it over you for the rest of your mafia life, saying I fucking told you so, but I know that you won't ACTUALLY sheep me. This is more so for if the town actually IS stupid enough to eliminate me D1.)
Idk if she makes this kind of post as scum. In the scumgame I played with her, her emotional reactions read ridiculously over the top and extremely fake to me. She sounds genuinely tilted here.
It’s the end of the world as you know it and we feel fine.

Specifically this post here.

I don’t think a Mastina scum buddy would highlight this. I think I would need that addressed before I would consider Mastina and Bunny aligned. I just think it’s way more likely they aren’t.

I’m the opposite.
I think how Bunny indirectly insisted on Mastina by asking furtive about their Mastina read.
I think that is likely what a partner does to try to avoid associating with the other one.

I like the entire ISO of Maid cafe, they are my one town read. My other town reads are all the people who were insignificant enough to not show up on my radar, except for the ones who aren't.

if town, mastina's mindset is a carefree town player who isn't afraid to draw attention to herself and cause trouble in a good way to catch mafia. if scum mastina is trying to control the narrative and be reckless (in appearance) town leader. Mastina accused math of trying to get rid of a threat, yet the same could be said both ways.

Scum mastina as reckless town leader doesn't make it to endgame, probably gets killed by bop or something, or nightkilled if its multiball like everyone says. If its multiball and scumastina knows its multiball, why draw attention to yourself? You could get nightkilled. Town and scum mathblade have similar motivations: survival, making it hard to read. I know mathblade is strong enough to fake the towny things they've said like not caring if they die early if not town.

In conclusion: How the hell am i supposed to know.

Onto my more valuable thoughts:

- Many people have called radical rat mafia, yet not a single person has voted there and had it show up in a vote count.
- Because I know I am a weak reader, I would very happily vote for some null people like the hydras with three word names, since I remember reading somewhere weak players are more likely to nullread mafia.
- As annoying as the strong voices mastina/mathblade are in a large game where I can name maybe 10-11 people, imagine if we kept them both alive and sniped a mafia d1. that would be sick.

I'll read the other half later. As for all the people who posted while I was reading, I am following absolutely nothing you are talking about.

Also this post by PPF feels aligned.
“her emotional reactions read ridiculously over the top and extremely fake to me. She sounds genuinely tilted here.”
^ Referring to Mastina town meta.

Well thing is. Her reads ARE over the top and fake.
Their read on me is completely fake.
them thinking every player who voted them is a wolf is definitely fake and especially saying how they immediately teamed together.
Saying all the wolves are voting them is very fucking fake.

Your post thinking it’s not is very bad.

But I have to argue that Radical Rat’s vote on Mastina was Townie.

@Scarf
Thoughts in regards to that?

I forget when you posted last

Mastina said a lot of wordy words I know are wrong and says I am scum.

People are sorting those words and reactions.

I believe Mastina is scum.

There go read the words and things so you’re not biased.
