So when he said his Bella read was based on meta, that set off alarm bells. I’m leaning towards that fake read being used to pocket Bella, rather than shield her from pressure.

Why do you think it's more likely a pocket attempt?

I guess because the alternative is just bad play imo.

If BBT gave a meta townread on Bella with no substance when he is publicly vocal about hating meta reads, and Bella soft-townreads him and pokes and prods at non-BBT options when he's getting run up, then they just both get axed.

Okay maybe what I'm trying to say is that it feels way too easy.

My approach, generally, is to find town: I've spoken about this a lot recently, even in the personality test. It's what I'm struggling with here: I think if could just lock town like, you, grib, fire, bbt and Eir that's a lot, but I'm really iffy on you and grib and bbt.

can we revisit ur townreads from say day 1. Like how did u get BBT town from ur interactions. I had skimmed it and like BBT basically never talked to u. One or two mentions and it wasn't some discussion i would say indicates anything to anyone.

This is fair. Tbf the thing I haven't made as clear as I thought was that bbt was always 'town enough ', rather than some lock town soul read and it was more the push on him that looked scumny, which made me more likely to think that he was town. I'd just been in the lost game, where he was a universal scum read for not great reasons and I was one of the scum team.

I don't wanna talk about bbt any more, it's giving aisa silly ideas.

I'm so hyped by this game right now ngl. I thought I was gonna get night killed. I really wanted BBT flipped because I thought he was scum and that it gives us lots of interactions and voting to look at (which I think it has) and now we have it I wanna dive deep.

The one thing I've noticed is that she seemed slightly more "solvey" overall as town, and loves mech spec as scum. She's also been more solvey tonight than I've noticed in any of the games I skimmed. I'm not super sure on this one, but I think she may be town.

Very relaxed tone and despite being a self declared "idiot as both alignemts" still manages to have strong opinions that I think have made an impact on the game.

I think that there are certain players who can pull off an easygoing vibe as scum, but I think that the specific kind of spontaneous interaction and gamesolving that Elements has shown tonight is town indicative for a lot of players plain and simple.

What I meant to say about this was: I think you may be onto something with the tone, but the way I see it he has spent 90% of the game memeing and 10% making sure he puts in a token contribution.

I'm not engaging with the Bella discussion rn because I feel like that's content that's easier to take in on a calm reread with a nice cup of tea.
