About a year ago I was a Universal Backup

So DkKoba got suspicion day 1 around their slot, apparently by an alleged cheater and the game got canceled because of it... but that's irrelevant

DkKoba claimed a partial backup

So I was a full on Universal backup and DkKoba claimed to be a partial backup (sounds a lot like Frogsterking/Titus).

OFC Koba was mafia in this game.

Being the mech noob I was, like I was paranoid but I didn't really do too much about it, but we killed some other mafia day 1 so I decided that I would out the next day.

Next day just kind of never ended up happening because of the alleged cheating scandal involving someone suspecting Koba initially. So I just posted what I was going to out with postgame.

But postgame I was being told that stuff like this really doesn't happen in typical setups by other people that postgame. The game was also using the mafiascum format/setups mostly at the host's discretion but it was on another site.

Also marci was quite literally another investigative this game anyways, and titus as another investigative with mathblade and Enchant as town seems pretty frozen wolf to me. Like they are only pointing fingers at the "scummiest" people versus what is actually mechanically viable

The existence of a "Mafia loyal bodyguard" is baffling. If BCG had protected Pooky, BCG would die, and everyone would know Pooky was scum regardless.

Scum don't have a roleblocker, or you are right, NM probably dies first. So the best they can do is cut Pooky loose. Kill the most vocal player on the town side, and hope that whomever NM shoots the next night isn't one of them when they kill him then.

Enchant, you said it yourself that it is weird that there are so many doubled roles.

Role cop + role cop
Voyeur + Voyeur
Tracker + Tracker

But, there is a distinction in there.

Marci was half of a tracker(even night), and furtive was a third of a tracker(joat with 3 abilities). They combined to like

of a full tracker getting to shoot every night as long as they live.

You are a 1 shot, night 3 voyeur. That added to a full voyeur is not really much in the grand scheme of things. As of right now, on day 4, You + Math =

125%

of a full voyuer shooting every night and that just goes down the longer the game goes on.

But Frog was an ungated rolecop, and Titus has claimed 4 results for 4 nights. They would combine to

of a full voyeur right now. I know titus has claimed to be out of shots, so would be lessening over time. But that would not start lowering until DAY 6!

That is definitely the most overlap of the overlaps.

And it makes more sense to me that scum gets a rolecop then scum gets a voyuer anyways. (both are confirmed to be true claiming their roles by how you handled start of day 4). Rolecop actually is useful for a scum team in this set up, to find the vig / doctor / joat. While voyeur, is just... kinda weak.
