no it just means MacReady didn't get assimilated on night one, he could still originally be a thing though I kind of townread him for being so leadery on killing Clark.

Assimilated-you sees what actions original you had taken
And thus known original you sent the message

Like once you have access to the account you can see everything the slot did previously, no?

I don't think that's how assimilation works but you can always check with the mod to be extra sure

If that Thing successfully carries out the nightkill on its intended target, it will "assimilate" the alternate account of the killed player and gain control of it. The Thing will lose control of its original account, and it will flip as having died during the night phase instead.

If you got assimilated overnight
The Thing would have access to your account
So I would assume be able to see what actions you took, etc

Maybe I'm fundementally misunderstanding but this is how I think assimilation works

I don't think it would make sense for assimilation to gain access to things like role pm and night action choices because that would be totally busted imo but we shall see? Just ask the mod.

I know that if you had been assimilated you wouldn't have access to the message I sent you so it feels like it doesn't make sense if I have been assimilated that the thing that ate me would have access to the message I sent you.

Assimilation does not grant a thing access to the previous player's role information or night actions. Any private messages sent to or from the previous occupant would be wiped.

More then that, Blair is confirmed town from your PoV, because scum cannot have any PRs.

Blair is nearly an IC at this point, as the only world where Blair is scum toDay is exactly a Blair+MacReady scum team.

Macready is confirmed "Not Assimilated" but not confirmed town.

For anyone wondering, that is partly why I was playing kind of quietly on Day 1. I didn't wanna risk being widely townread and getting assimilated.

faking a guilty is one of those things i would love to do in this game because you can always abandon your slot after the fact. I also felt kind of susp of Palmer on day one to begin with - I think there is a good chance the convo between Palmer and Clark at beginning of day was badly done scum theatre

I hope Childs is town because Palmer needs shooting after I flip town.
For those who aren't me (I know I'm town) is it likely town cop investigates someone who is under suspicion from D1 and therefore a reasonable possibility of assimilating away? Compared with getting an inno on someone more likely to still be themselves today?

On one hand, day 1 I town read windows and scum read palmer.

On the other hand, this seems like a really dumb play for scum palmer to make unless we are saying the scum team was exactly Lars+Palmer, and Lars scum was confident in their ability to impersonate Childs.

But even then, Windows does not feel like the go to target to fake a guilty on given how scum read he was Day 1.
