I had a thread set to autolock at 2022-10-27 11:00:00 -7.00 (PST) - https://forum.mafiascum.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=89984. I checked the thread 45 mins after it was set to lock, saw a message that said "Topic will auto-lock in approximately under a minute", but I still had to manually lock the thread.

Is this a known bug, or did I bungle the setting?

Yeah, it worked when it was first released, but then it broke at some point soon after and was never fixed.
