Kind of funny, but the dice roller only understands numeric characters, not alphabetic characters.

MOL, I suspect you're not understanding. The dice roller is not *designed* to understand "seventeen". It only understands numeric input separated by the "d" character, such as 17d4. Stop trying to get it to do something funny, or at least stop expecting it to give you different results when JEEP told you what it accepts as valid input.
