You can only make that claim if you see any evidence a player is town. And if his playstyle is playing the game without actually ding anything then it's his fault and I'm fine to see a worthless player lynched day 1. Better now then wait until endgame when he screws us over.

Unneeded sarcasm aside, would you care to say what about the attacks you dislike or are you having trouble actually finding anything worthwhile to bring up? See I don't really like being attacked from the sidelines by a benched player is all. not relevant to actually finding scum. I sort of dropped off when I decided to refrain from putting too much effort into keeping up with why LALAL is a better than LAL and blahblahblah. I mean, I've seen several instances where I could make a big ole point about how someone was wrong/misguided (e.g. Kor's assumption that Giuseppe didn't lie to look less suspicious when Giuseppe specifically said he labeled the vote as random - even though it wasn't random - simply to avoid suspicion)... but. Eh. I don't think it would be constructive.

I'll need to read these past few pages properly, but meh. I'm sure reading through it carefully will lead me to believe my current interpretation: it's mafia theory masturbatory conversation. Probably best found in Mafia Discussion, not in a game that hasn't even broken into double digits for its pages.


I do like how me not stirring the pot for two (weekend) days is "falling under the radar" and cause for a vote. That's sarcasm, by the way - it's a pretty weak reason. I'll post something a bit more substantive later.

Thank you, I like being told I'm town, makes me feel like I'm doing something good for the game. I agree with Korlash, you need to ask more questions. I notice you did this more in the other games we're playing together but not here, is it just more difficult to find something to question or are you behaving differently on purpose? (Sorry for bringing up meta info, I just notice you tend to be more forward rather than reserved and watchful in games, thus its really bothering me).

Hes making votes and accusing people of being scum without explanation or elaboration, his watching seems to not have helped him much since he'll stilll think I could be scum during the game as would any player until I or anyone else is confirmed. Can you explain why you think its an attack rather than interogation of suspicious behaviour (that being as how I've seen it).

ZEEnon, how did you go about writing Post 157? Did you read the game and then type it up? Did you type as you were reading? Did you read through first, then type as you read a second time? Did you edit in things as you typed?

Alright, so here's my clarification on 'Lying is Never Good'.

Nowhere in my post did I ever advocate lynch LAL, please keep that in mind. I said lying was never good because the truth should never be hidden from the Town. When the truth is told, everyone wins: both Town and Scum. Ideally, we'd like not for the Scum to win from our honesty, but it's unavoidable. If a person lies in the hopes of tricking the scum, however, I'd argue that the Town loses more from a Town lie than the Scum lose. The Town are naturally more suspicious, and don't like being lied to. If a pro-Town player lies, than the Scum, should that lie be revealed, can hop aboard and use LAL as an argument.

What makes lying a dangerous situation is that Town players use LAL too, allowing Scum to blend very well, and get away with lynching a Town player.

In that regard, I say that lying is not good for the Town, but simultaneously LAL is not good, because it allows Scum to blend, and makes too much room for error in lynching.

Does that clarify at all?

As for my own suspicions, I find Zwet the scummiest at the moment, with his weird waiting on Philly for the opinion, as well as his approval of Philly as a pro-town player. This feels to me like Zwet manipulating Phil onto his side, and the 'pro-town' flattery in Zwet's posts after their little scuffle on page 7, on top of Zwet's odd tie to Phil *IE waiting for his opinion, and the pro-town remarks so soon after he (Zwet) finished suspecting him (Phil)*

He's spent more time discussing why he feels Phil is pro-town than he has explaining why GC is scum.

His fixation on Phil leads me to be perfectly comfortable with a:

Yes, I noticed this. He concentrated on me 'confirming' that he believes I'm town but never does he explain why he thinks GC is scum. Confirming scum > Confirming town.

I still think Albert's craplogic (i.e.

instinct

upon myself) shows scummy tendancies, his reluctance to vote for me now due to the fact that Zwet has more votes is also not very town play. If he could highlight why each seems scummy perhaps that would give insight into why hes between voting for Zwet or Phily. Instead he seems to be waiting for a good moment to step into events without grandstanding. Perhaps hes after a mislynch, this is just speculation.
