There are two sets of rules, and all players should read all the rules!
Also, my name, Crola is pronounced Crola, the O sounds like the O in got. So don't mispronounce it!
Game Rules (Not stolen, but probably similar to what other people have written)
1) No foul language or insults to your fellow players or mod. I am very serious about this, and this could lead to replacement or mod kill.
2) Despite the fact that they rhyme, even though I'm mod, I'm not God. I am human and fallible, just like you. Any mistake that I make will be dealt with by me, but don't point something really stupid out like misspelling the word "the" or something.
3) When you're dead, you're dead. No more posts from you, none. Not even "Arghh," posts. If you still feel you must talk about the game and it's conspiracies, you may only talk with me. All dead posts will be erased.
4) Do not talk with anybody about the game, outside of the game at any time. Unless, of course, I tell you to, in which you can only talk at night.
5) Night deadlines will be two to three real days, unless another deadline is made by me. Morning deadlines will not be made unless the game comes to what looks like a stop, or if there's like only two people talking about hats or something.
6) If you need extensions on anything, please ask and I'll be happy to help. Also, if you are not going to be here (on the site) for any reason, please PM me, I will have absolutely no way of knowing otherwise. I will tell the rest of the players you will be gone.

Like all real days, this game will start in the morning, not at night, which means after you confirm, the game will start. I will repeat this rule in my other set of rules to re-remind you.
9) Just like in real life, what you say has been said, so think before you speak. This means no editing or erasing your posts. Also, NO QUOTING MY PMS. This means no quoting

PMS I've given you, whether it was about your role, item, or me saying "Hello, how are you?"

16) I would prefer not to have zombies in my game. Zombies are people who die, and replace someone and then they turn up on the living and dead list as Crola and Crola II. I will take people who haven't been in the game over those who are dead, so don't be offended. Also, if you were a cop and you try to be a replacement, I will not allow you to be a zombie. Any role with information like cop or mafia and you will not be allowed to be a zombie. However, a townie becoming a cop will get all his info that he collected.

Game-specific Rules for Item Mafia (These are what makes it interesting)
The numbered rules are towards the bottom, most of the rules have been sorted into sections of explanations rather than numbers though.
This game is all about buying the better items, and of course, being rich. Everyone starts with an item, unless otherwise specified, and of course everyone gets a role.
There is a store which will be listed and updated.
YOU MAY ONLY HAVE 2 ITEMS! And you may hold as much money as you like.
You can buy items from the store only during Morning and Twilight (see rule # 2 ).
Items are similar to Roles, if you quote their effects, you have quoted the mod and will be publicly executed!
Some Items can be sold, others can't. Some you will choose to use, others automatically take affect. The item will specify if it can be sold and how it can be used. (See rule # 4) You won't know what an item does until you buy it. So, I'd prefer you don't announce what an item does, that's like role claiming. I will allow you to say what an item does though, because no one will know if you're telling the truth or not.
YOU MUST USE THE ITEM YOU START WITH! The item cannot be sold even if it normally could be sold.
YOU ALSO HAVE ROLES. Though items are very similar to roles, you have both roles and items, don't forget that!
How to buy an item
Buying from the Store:
To buy from the store, simply post which item you wish to buy, you will then receive that item at its face value. This also means everyone can see this purchase.
Buying from Crola's Black Market:
To buy items in secret so no one else knows, you may PM me during the Morning and you can purchase the item of your choice for double the actual price. It's worth the privacy though.
You can buy as many items you want every Morning/Twilight (Which means you can buy up to 2)
However, you can only buy from the my Black Market once per day, so if you buy 2 items in one day, one will automatically be bought from the Store.
Playing The Lottery
Yes, the lottery, and no age requirements either.
Each night you are allowed to play in the lottery. It costs two coins to join the lotto, and you must
pay for the ticket in the Morning
, this means PMing me and paying for your tickets. All the money gets put into the jack pot, and he/she who wins the lotto gets all the money in the jackpot. Anyone who dies during the night has all their money placed in the jackpot in addition to the money from ticket purchases.
The Way it Works
For the first 2 coins you spend on a lotto ticket, you get one real piece of paper with your name on it, I call this a ballet. Each coin you spend after that, you get one more ballet. So, if you PM me saying you want to spend 3 coins on papers with your name on it, you will get 2 ballets. I will throw these ballets in a hat and pick one out, I have no favorites and there is no way to rig the lotto or bribe me. Whoever's name I pick out wins the jackpot. The more ballets you bought, the more times your name is in the hat and the better chance you have of winning. (BTW, the hat is a Yankees cap, Go Yankees!).

2) When buying items during Twilight, you can only buy from the store, but not from my Black Market. It will be closed.
3) If you run out of items, you immediately become a thief (See the Thief Section at the bottem). If you have a role, such as Cop, then you are both a cop and a thief.
4) When selling items that can be sold, you will receive half the face value in return. If it's an odd number you will get one more than half. Please PM me when you want to sell items.
5) You can only use items at night unless otherwise specified!
6) ALLOWANCE: You need some sort of income. One way is the lottery, the other is selling items you don't want. Also, each night you stay alive, you get 5 coins as allowance from me.
7) KILLING: If you kill someone, you can confiscate one item, or take half their money. You will not know how much money they have, nor will you know what items they have. Everything left behind is confiscated by me.
Thieves
Thieves can steal during the night, however, if you choose to steal, then you cannot use your other role. I will flip a coin to see which item you steal, heads will always be the item that your victim first possessed. You may also choose to steal 5 coins. Once you have an item again, you are no longer a thief.
