Vote Count:6 to lynch
Seraphim: 6 (Green Crayons, PhilyEc, Gorrad, Albert B. Rampage, Jebus, GLaDOS)
ZEEnon: 2 (Korlash, Seraphim)
Green Crayons: 1 (Mastin)
Not Voting: 2 (Xtoxm, ZEEnon)
As the mob turns its wrath towards Seraphim, he lets out a cry of anger and lets the facade fall. His white hollow mask pulses, and suddenly unleashes a torrent of pellets into the approaching group. A vicious struggle breaks out, as Seraphim uses his power to control body parts and whole bodies and turns you on each other. In the end though, there are more of you than he can control, and GLaDOS lands the finishing blow.

In the pre-dawn light you are roused from your sleep by a loud crash outside.
"Enemy detected..." you hear, in a familiar yet otherworldly voice. Is that PhilyEc? He sounds almost detached. Then the sounds of battle ensue.
Rushing out to see just what is going on, you find that you're too late. He was a strong combatant, if the damage done to the town is any indication of the fierceness of the fight, but in the end he was overcome.
As the sun rises high into the sky, the realization sinks in that the town has suffered its first casualty.
PhilyEc -Ururu Tsumigiya, Town Hollow Cop- Killed Night Two
It is now Day Three. With 9 alive, it will take 5 votes to lynch.- Xtoxm

I can go for a Korlash or Gorrad vote at the moment. Will need to review Phily, Korlash and Gorrad activity."This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." In re Davis, 557 U.S. 952, 955 (2009) (Scalia, J., dissenting).- Xtoxm

So no one at all cares that Mastin claimed his flavor matched Sera yet... Sera was scum? Funny, that's kinda the only thing I could think about all night...
You guys do what you need to do, I'll follow this one up...

Sorry quick EBWOP:
You do know how stupid this sounds right? Philly voted gorrad for like 4 posts yesterday then switched to Sera. If he had a guilty on im why the hell did he switch so fast?Xtoxm wrote:Vote Gorrad

Korlash: I thought Mastin over through the night but I don't know how stupid scum would be in an incredibly blatant attempt to divert attention away from their partner's quickly sinking ship. Mastin doesn't come across as stupid. He might be egotistical enough to think it would have worked (I don't know the guy), but that would still leave the potental for him to be exposed if Seraphim perished at any other point.
Xtox: Sup? You going to answer those questions, ever? Also (new one): why did you hop off the Seraphim wagon never to return?"This Court has never held that the Constitution forbids the execution of a convicted defendant who has had a full and fair trial but is later able to convince a habeas court that he is 'actually' innocent." He puts Seraphim at L-1 and coaches him to claim a power role. He implies that Seraphim is scum because he said he "needed time to think" when all he needed to do was claim.Xtoxm wrote:Unvote Vote Seraphim
He stalls and then doesn't claim. If he was town he wouldn't need time to think, he just had to claim.
Right away, he unvotes after the claim when most sane players called the fakeclaim bullshit.Xtoxm wrote:Seraphim wrote:FoS: Xtoxm
Oh, were we waiting for my claim? I have no problem claiming right this instant. I thought I was defending my case, which seemed to be the feeling I was getting. If I just had to claim, I would have done so a long time ago. Please note that this vote reeks like hell when I flip town.
I amKonand have the ability to "hide" with another player rendering me untargetable for kills that night. However, if the player I am hiding behind is targeted for a kill, I also die.
I targeted Gorrad on Night 1.Unvote

Green Crayons, you are pretty much confirmed town to me. Please give analysis on Xtoxm + Gladdos. Gladdos especially in relation to Seraphim.

Korlash, don't be stupid. Mastin is new here and hasn't grasped the mechanics of the game yet. I am his IC coach and he failed miserably to meet my expectations, even though he has played a few games before the newbe game.
So Korlash, Mastin is noob-town. Xtoxm is, without the shadow of a doubt, scum.Guard your honor. Let your reputation fall where it will. And outlive the bastards.- Korlash

True... I won't deny the logic in it but I personally didn't vote Sera when i had the chance based soley on Mastin and what I thought was a subtle hint at a claim backing Sera up. As sera was scum... you kinda see where I'm going with this. I really want to know his flavor and know just why and how it matched sera.GC wrote:Korlash: I thought Mastin over through the night but I don't know how stupid scum would be in an incredibly blatant attempt to divert attention away from their partner's quickly sinking ship. I don't know man... bing a newbie or not won't change claiming your flavor matches a scum's... There is really only two things, 1 his flavor does indeed match what sera claimed in which case it should add up and I really shouldn't be worried anymore. Or 20 he lied... and is thus scum...ABR wrote:So Korlash, Mastin is noob-town. Xtoxm is, without the shadow of a doubt, scum.
If you haven't noticed by now I'm a big fan of flavor. What matin did is a pretty big important deal to me. However, should my suspicious be assauged... I'd be more then happy to join the Xtoxm wagon. The thing on Gorrad today andsomething from yesterday both struck my suspicions. I don't think the unvote after the claim is such a big deal though as I feel any sane logical town should want to take time to discuss a claim and not just outright disbelieve it.It's not my job to be right, it's my job to be convincing.

Korlash, don't feel patronized by me ordering you to not be stupid. There's a very accurate quote that shafted posted the other day concerning my playstyle:
And for this I make no apologies, however I do empathize with players who think I'm mean. But really, Xtoxm is the play here. Gladdos should be placed under close scrutiny also.shaft.ed wrote:Good gut, bad people skills

I just feel left out because mine wasn't even close... But fine... i'm not in the habit of voting for someone just becuase someone else said to but in Xtoxm's case I think I can make an exception. Theres nothing to be learned from Ghost except that he voted Glad... Which doesn't help at all. He pretty much denounced the Zwet wagon all day after he replaced in without actually backing up why, he then hammered him... Which makes perfect sense... And the thing with Gorrad today... yeah I can live with some pressure on him.

Short on time, but I do not believe that PhilyEc had a guilty result on Gorrad.
First, PhilyEc made about 4 substantive posts on Day Two before ever voting for Gorrad. Second, PhilyEc switched from Gorrard to Seraphim as Day Two come to a close. Perhaps just as importantly, wedidjust lynch a scum Redirector – this casts doubt onto all investigations done on Night One, evenifPhilyEc did have such a result.
For the record, though, if I were to speculate as to PhilyEc’s result, it would probably have been an innocent investigation on Albert B. Rampage, given the contrast of language we have from PhilyEc’s last post on Day One, which was Post 252, and PhilyEc’s first post on Day Two, which was Post 283."Aperture Science: We do what we must because we can."- Mastin

I have a post typed up about the cases on Albert and X, and along with a few more of my thoughts, but it's at a different computer than what I am currently using. I'll probably post it in a few hours (read: by my time, ~4 pm, and if not then, ~8 pm).
Needless to say, Phil is not what I expected--I was thinking Phil might've been a mason, or something, based off of another one/two people who I also suspected are masons.
As it stands, though, I question if I should post all of it. Needless to say, while previous play by Albert can be interpreted as scum tells,
1: I know not his style, and it could be just that,
and
2: His play today definitely makes me question my earlier suspicions.
Possible. I'll have to check back on that...X wrote:Vote Gorrad

To clarify,So no one at all cares that Mastin claimed his flavor matched Sera yet... Sera was scum? Funny, that's kinda the only thing I could think about all night...
The way the flavor was worded was almost an exact match to the flavor wording in my PM.
I raise this point in my document.
Believe it or not, I believe this, Albert.Albert wrote:HUYD XTOXM IS THE SECOND SCUM.
I am sure.
Let's lynch him.
Vote: Xtoxm
...But there's more to it than that.
As scum, I'd never defend my partner unless either,Green wrote:He might be egotistical enough to think it would have worked (I don't know the guy), but that would still leave the potental for him to be exposed if Seraphim perished at any other point.
1: It is lylo and it benefits me to do so in the hopes of a mislynch.
2: The attack against my partner is so unjust that it makes the attacker look like the scummiest player alive. (In this case, other players ALSO defend the attacked and attack the attacker)
It depends on who the cop is--I, for example, as cop make it painfully obvious who my targets are. Defending the town from going after one of my results, hounding a guilty in an attempt to get that person lynched.Albert wrote:And anyone who speculates on who the cop might have investigated and the result of it is doing something extremely scummy.
Yet some players actually DEFEND their guilties just to appear to be less likely to be the cop.
It really depends on the player who flips cop.
In Coney island, yes, I am new. In Newbie games, I've completed two real ones. I wouldn't call myself 'new', but I find this assessment to be accurate.Mastin is new here and hasn't grasped the mechanics of the game yet.
There's no way to give flavor without claiming, to my knowledge.Korlash wrote: I really want to know his flavor
Ah, that explains some things...Albert wrote:My flavor also matched Seraphim's flavor; I just didn't say anything.
I'd vote X, where many of my suspicions also lie, but that'd be L-2, which could lead to a quick lynch very easily.I'm back! Well, kind-of.No Access on Weekends. :/

L-2 means that there still needs to be three votes before that player is lynched. That's a lot. Here I disagree -- which is obvious, seeing as I just speculated as to who PhilyEc investigated on Night One. Quite often, Cops die before they can claim. If they probably have results -- which is likely in this case, although such results are obviously not guaranteed to be accurate -- I think it entirely careless toAlbert B. Rampage wrote:And anyone who speculates on who the cop might have investigated and the result of it is doing somethingextremely scummy.nottry and figure out who they investigated. There is no point in ignoring potential sources of information, especially sources of information that come directly from the Mod.
That said, heavily relyingon such speculation is another matter. Possible investigation results are simply something which ought to be taken into account."Aperture Science: We do what we must because we can."- Albert B. Rampage
