You know you're going to lose this like this, paper! You fulfilled your end of the bargain, and now there's no advantage to him fulfilling his side. Not even your future support in the game, because by backstabbing you the Rocks can win! You've got to kill them to save yourselves (and coincidentally, help out us). Why settle for a sure second when you could have a shot at first?

...Ugh. This game is starting take an ugly turn.

And of course, if Paper believe you, then there's no reason for Scissors to attack us, and therefore you are free to kill off both Paper. I appreciate your desire to pull something out of nothing here, but I don't think it'll work.

To Narninian and vikingfan: Remember that this entire day, Scissors has been *reacting* to what Rock has proposed rather than making their own plans, and imploring you to backstab or switch sides. Can you trust them? Rock has already outlined what we will do to help you to the extent of our abilities, and I'll vouch for my team giving you a fair chance. True, my responsibility is to make sure that as many of our delegates get home from this conference as possible; but if we can repay the trust Paper showed us, so much the better for both our "Families".

You awaken to find Locus Cosecant cold and blue. The bruising around his nose and mouth suggests that he was strangled. Also dead is Coron, stabbed repeatedly in the chest.

Locus Cosecant was the South American representative of the Scissors mafia.
Coron was the North American representative of the Rock mafia.

Well, Rock, I did my duty(as you can tell), since Locus is dead. Now things are interesting as DarkLight is in the same situation we were in yesterday as kingmaker.

Unless, of course, the Rocks and Paper ally to destroy the last scissor, Darklight. What would be the mechanism then if it was 2 v. 2?

I did my job, Killed locus, apparently my partner did the same(unless he is lying). I must say I'm pleased with how the night turned out. Not so sure Lynching Darklight is the best plan.

If we lynch Rock, then its 2 paper vs. 1 rock vs. 1 scissors (Im sure Darklight would rather do than than to be lynched).

Well, we COULD just lynch darklight and then blindly kill. It leaves it open to a win for either Rock or Paper. If both sides compare lists, then everyone will be dead. If no one compares lists, then there remains a chance that someone will be alive tomorrow.

Secondly, I would prefer that I get lynched, and then vikingfan kill Mr. Flay, and Narninian kill StrykkerVerde. The Rocks, naturally, do the opposite. Everyone dies, therefore no one wins and Scissors does just as well as the rest of the teams, since everyone ends with a loss. Claiming that Scissors comes in last is possible, but not really, since frankly dead is dead and the game would end in an orgy of blood in that scenario anyway.

2 Paper vs. 1 Rock vs. 1 Scissor come the night is doable as well, and it eliminates the 'Scissors comes in last because you were lynched rather than killed' thing. So I guess that would be best.

That's assuming that everyone kills according to the list, which as we've seen, is far from a given in this game.

Let's analyze the possibilties. If we lynch Darklight now, then it's 2 v. 2 and everyone is dead. If we leave Darklight alive and kill Mr. Flay instead(hypothetically), that leads to a much less clear-cut endgame where possibly one side could win if someone screws up and leaves someone unkilled.

I suppose the thing to do is to decide whether to go for a clear-cut draw or to go for a possible win. I want to hear what Narninian thinks before we decide.

Well, frankly, I think I pretty much just eliminated the possibility of someone screwing up, because unless a Paper is lynched, everyone knows who to kill so they don't. Either way, the endgame is about as clear as you're going to get. There's really no possible win for anyone, here.

With pressure mounting, the teams each quickly lay out a plan for taking out the other team. So, as night falls, each of the four players moves to a corner of the room, taking up a position from which they can see all three of the other players. Darkness fills the room and they lift their weapons.

StrykkerVerde prepares to heave a large rock at vikingfan.

Mr. Flay lifts a heavy rock and aims for Narninian.

Narninian... well... Narninian appears to have fallen asleep. That can't be good.

Midnight tolls on the hallway clock, rousing Narninian from his slumber. He springs into action, randomly suffocating the first person he sees. At the first sign of movement, each of the other scum attacks as well, and for a moment, the four of them are an indistinguishable melee of bodies. And then, they fall away, exhausted or dead. But after a few moments, two of them, though battered and hurt, rise from the struggle and move to walk away.
