Right, as I've stated before, this isn't "secure" so if you don't trust the person you are playing with, then don't play with them or find another dice mechanism. This is just a handy little tool.

General dnd uses would be nice - Xylbot (IRC bot used for Mafia) has a "best of X" function, so that, for instance, you can take the best 3 of 4d6.

DnD now uses the point buy system, because they found dice rolls were not secure in any way.

In the 3.0 version, the dice rolls will be much more secure. The original were created assuming that people have no reason to cheat...

No, I don't think it is. I don't want to play with people who are going to go about cheating. The whole site has a premise that people will not cheat. It's unfortunate that it has happened at all.

I haven't personally come across someone cheating with dice, I know it can be done, but I haven't seen it in a game.

How are you securing the dice in 3.0?
