Inbox wiped itself without my seeing the message?

Hey, sorry. My inbox here told me I had a new message (I'm anticipating a game confirmation), and when I navigated to the tab, it suddenly decided I had no new messages? Any ideas? Thank you!!

It's because I deleted the message before you opened it, because you were taking too long.

But since the replacement hasn't picked it up yet, I guess I'll put you back in.

It's possible that the sender deleted in their outbox before you were able to pick it up. You'd still have the 1 message display until you refreshed or went to the inbox.
