How about the possibility that *you* are scum, though? This post strongly reminds me of the way Slicey pushed the "Camn is SK" theory in Medieval Mafia.

Uh...how? That was basically me as hopeless scum saying 'after you kill me and the game isn't over yet then camn is the last anti-town,' thus actually helping the town IIRC. It was a while ago so I may be incorrect. But I don't see any correlation.

A cursory review shows me that he likes to post one liners remarking on thing pretty often. I'm curious if that is a convenient way to contribute without covering everything that's happened. Add that to the post for everyone he responds to in both games...I think I understand what Tar's getting at.

Not sure I see that big of a difference in playstyle, but since you two have a metaread I'm willing to go with it. It's not like anything or particular worth has really happened so far :S

This sort of thing is often considered "having your cake and eating it too". I don't find you suspicious for it, it's consistent with my limited knowledge of your meta. However I would make the point that the alternative to a good wagon was continued lack of momentum in the game.

Hey chamber,

You've stated that you support a mass origin claim (in your first post). When asked to explain why, you said this:

I know that there is a deathnote in this game and find it unlikely that there would be 2 punisher mechanics out of 16 people, even in a bastard setup.

So you figure that an origin claim is fine because you know there is a role name punisher (a deathnote) in the game.

Yet you didn't say anything when Tarhalindur revealed:

One of my abilities depends on role name to function

(it's more complicated than that, but I'd rather not inform scum about exactly how it works). That ability isn't a kill per se... but it does have the potential to be hideously powerful if used correctly, and

can kill under certain circumstances.

So either:
A) You know that Tarhalindur isn't the punisher role that you know is in the game. Which means:
i) So either you know specifically who the punisher is or
ii) You're the punisher role. (and given post 175, I think you're likely 3rd party)
B) Tarhalindur's reveal didn't surprise you because you already knew what her role was (i.e. scummates).

So like I said before. Spill.

If this wasn't a bastard game I'd be positive the deathnote holder was town, my role doesn't make sense otherwise. I think its also likely that they have an awc but that aside pursuing them isn't ideal, I'd just rather not give them the chance to achieve their awc.

Tar claimed what he did AFTER me. I don't think that scum would do so.

So you think its best I kept this info to myself and let the punisher role feed of name claims that are sure to come? I mean, I don't think this specifically helped either major faction, I image it just hurt the holder. But how does that make it anti-town?

I want you to explain more about how you know about the existence of a punisher role. Because right now you sound like a Serial Killer claiming to be a psychiatrist.

I don't see Zaz's scumminess outweighing the scumminess of the wagon, as he is known to either spam, but if he falls behind, then go to the other extreme and lurk. If he isn't being prodded ATM, he does definitely need one.
